Blue Bloods: Does Danny Reagan Deserve Another Chance at Love?

For fans of Blue Bloods, we get to see a classic case, of Danny Reagan who just might have had an awful marriage! But, can Danny Reagan really find someone better in the future? Or was it just his way?

Blue Bloods is full of exciting action, stories that pull on heartstrings, but also, shows the power of families! However, with those emotional moments. What happens in Blue Bloods really forces viewers to reflect upon the ups and downs of a major character like Danny Reagan.

He is so beloved by fans and a central, well-respected member of this long running series, and so loved. For a long time, Danny had this complicated marriage, to Linda, the character played by Amy Carlson! Blue Bloods gives the audience a real world understanding of what that means to the family unit. We see how a strong couple can experience their own share of conflict. But is this show about a family drama and does it really showcase Danny Reagan with a heart full of compassion and understanding?

Even though you've gotten to see the series. And, if you love the long running Blue Bloods series, the biggest shock may come with his relationship! What could go wrong in Blue Bloods and its perfect portrayal of a strong, loving family, where they are bound together! Linda was an integral part, but she met her unfortunate, tragic end between seasons 7 and 8!

There were a few big, shocking changes for the show and its fans!

Danny Reagan's marriage was portrayed right from the very beginning when Blue Bloods started out! In the series, he already has two amazing sons - Jack and Sean (portrayed by the Terraciano brothers, Tony and Andrew.
While Linda was a character who only began the show in the first few episodes! The character soon joined the main cast starting in 2012.

While it's really great to see this character find some love. In reality, some might see Danny in a very harsh light. Many have argued about what happened, what went wrong, and ultimately how Danny Reagan is not the person to give a shot at love for another.

Danny Reagan might get the chance as we see him enter a new romantic arc and he is set for love again, in "Blue Bloods's" final season, season 14! And he certainly needs someone.

The Issues in Danny's Relationship:

You have to wonder what really happened? This was a relationship where these two are in a really complicated dynamic as Danny doesn't put forth a genuine sense of affection toward Linda. While some viewers might have overlooked the flaws! Danny is a flawed individual that doesn't see the hurt that his actions cause, and you will realize he may have never been capable of giving back what she gave!

He doesn't take that responsibility in his life, and perhaps that may have been one of the factors that led to his marriage failing.

Fans were never going to give him an out, because he still manages to be "all" about himself! You might have caught on to this before as he makes it out like he's in the right!

Danny Reagan has a really bad way of ignoring his problems. Some might even view his issues with the police force to be what has brought his relationships into a downward spiral! In an ideal situation you see that the relationship of Danny and Linda, they were together even before "Blue Bloods" came on the scene! You've heard the adage, "it is important to make a real change" when a person has such difficult times, and maybe that's something that Danny needs to realize!

If the audience gives a second chance! And for any "Blue Bloods" fans that want him to have another opportunity, they should think about how much growth and redemption Danny needs to experience in order to actually give back.

Danny's Potential Love Interest:

While a great deal of fans are excited about Danny's love interest and how the season will unfold! Many believe there's one character in particular! "Blue Bloods" has one interesting aspect to its storytelling!

You can't go wrong with Maria Baez, who happens to be his amazing partner!

Maria Baez played by the fantastic Marisa Ramirez, was always seen as being on the edge of getting more from her role. She's great as a partner, a supportive friend, and could be the perfect love interest for Danny!
They have had some truly great moments on the show. Even though, it's unclear if there's romance there.

That may be something that these fans will want to watch closely, to get an inside look!

It's just important to give some serious consideration to how Danny is not only acting but also viewing his past actions, including the flaws that he needs to acknowledge before he has a shot at being a caring, and kind man!

Danny needs to change! While this show, which has been so important for TV fans around the globe for so many seasons (including season 14). We can't expect for something amazing to just come out of thin air. The hope that Danny Reagan will find love. However, there has to be change! It's more than just wishful thinking. It would make this relationship all the more satisfying!

Fans who have gotten so far into Blue Bloods can feel the strong emotional core. In this family-driven show! That includes the highs and lows. It's why the show has made it so far with season 14! What makes it special, are those characters! Their development, and what may occur next will be interesting to see. It doesn't seem like Danny Reagan, or anyone on this show! Should just expect these good, positive relationships without some serious inner-work!

The final season is about to bring these compelling "Blue Bloods" characters and the exciting stories that we love.

Even with the loss of Linda and the potential that Danny may find a new romance, what is clear from Blue Bloods is that we can always get a fantastic show that showcases real world events, the struggles we experience and what it means to learn about who we are.
