August 9–11 will see Disney's D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event convention held in Anaheim, California. With celebrations outside the Anaheim Convention Center including events at bigger venues like the Honda Center and Angel Stadium, this year's event looks to be even more grand and fantastic than previous. And Funko, Mondo, and Loungefly have developed a line of special products to honor this historic event that will surely thrill Disney enthusiasts of all stripes.
Inspired by the very first Mickey Mouse cartoon, "Steamboat Willie," Loungefly is honoring Disney's modest beginnings for D23 2024 with a line of wearable gear. Among this collection are a Mickey & Minnie Steamboat Willie Headband, a Steamboat Willie Bomber Jacket, and a Minnie Platinum Steamboat Willie Mini Backpack. Every object has a subdued color scheme that reminds one of Mickey Mouse's first appearances black-and- white look.
Big Hero 6 became ten years old in 2024, and Loungefly is commemorating this with a lovable Baymax collection. Two items in this collection are a Big Hero 6 Baymax Unisex Hoodie and a 10th Anniversary Baymax Mini Backpack. The backpack has glow-in--the-dark elements that guarantee it shines even in the dark; the hoodie has a vivid red color and features Baymax's recognizable face. Whereas the backpack is constructed from sequin with a vegan leather trim, the hoodie is made with a 100% water-resistant shell and a cushioned fill.
