The Cast of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Will Continues Singing Together
For Christina Chong, Celia Rose Gooding, Melisaa Navia, and Jess Bush, boldly singing together in the musical episode Star Trek: Strange New Worlds turned out not to be one-time event. Together, the Star Trek quintet worked on a brand-new tune called "Space Girlz," which will soon be published. Working with award-winning producer Jim Anderson in Toronto, Chong, Bush, Navia, and Gooding developed the new song when Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 3 was under filming.
In 2023 Christina Chong debuted "Twin Flames," an EP with original songs. Though that may simply be a fantastical idea at this stage, there is even talk about bringing Star Trek: Strange New Worlds's musical to Broadway. Then once more, so was the mere idea of a Star Trek musical to start, and that became not only a reality but a hit. The ensemble of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds surely exhibits musical ability they wish to keep exploring. Though there are always chances, it has yet to be known if the musical will of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds would ever have an encore.

Even Apple's streaming music charts were topped by "Subspace Rhapsody's" soundtrack of songs penned and composed by Tom Polce and Kay Hanley of Letters to Cleo.
The Wrap's How I Did It interviewed Kay Hanley, Tom Polce, and Celia Rose Gooding on the development of the Star Trek: Strange New Worlds musical episode. Gooding said she was anxious when she learned the Star Trek musical would be a reality and talked on how singing together created a "rather unbreakable link" among the group. Her quotes are included below:

Originally seen as a joke, the musical episode first piqued my interest. In principle, that would be great—we have a lot of musical folks here, myself and Christina Chong, who does La'an... I started to get somewhat anxious when I realized it would be a genuine event instead of merely a joke. Singing in harmony with someone else feels to me to be a unique and private experience. It simply fosters a quite strong attachment. Thus, the fact that we got this moment together as a cast/family bonds us in a way I'm not sure many other Trek families share.
