Starfield's Trackers Alliance Could Be The Key To More Devious Gameplay
Bethesda added the Trackers Alliance in Starfield's 1.12.30 update. The Trackers Alliance is a bounty hunter group based in Akila City. They post missions on various boards across the Settled Systems, giving players a chance to make some quick credits or build a reputation as a bounty hunter.
Currently, players can choose from two Trackers Alliance Missions, "The Trackers Alliance" and "The Starjacker." The first mission introduces the player to Agent No. 1, the leader of the group. The second mission is a test where the player needs to track down Hannibal Eutropio and apprehend him for his crimes. Bethesda also added a main bounty quest called "The Vulture" via Creations, which tasks the player with finding a veteran sniper from the Colony War who is now a mercenary. However, the price for this quest was controversial due to the cost of the Creation Points.
The Bounty Board System Could Be Used To Put Up Hits
While the Trackers Alliance currently offers missions for Bounty Hunting, the bounty board system could be used by more questionable characters in Starfield. The system could be used to put up hits on specific targets, allowing players to become assassins.
Some characters within the game, like the CEOs of various Megacorps, might want to silence whistleblowers who are about to expose their unethical experiments. This feature would allow players to engage in more villainous gameplay and explore the seedier side of Starfield's world. Players could even create their own targets and hits using the new Creation Kit, expanding the possibilities for both good and evil gameplay.
These hit missions could offer a higher payout, making them an attractive option for players willing to ignore their morals. Players could use various tools and builds to carry out these assassinations, from ranged attacks using sniper rifles to stealthy approaches where they infiltrate the target's location.
The bounty board system in Starfield has a lot of potential for future expansion. It could be a great way to introduce more complex and engaging gameplay, whether it's through official updates from Bethesda or player-created content through the Creation Kit. The future of the Trackers Alliance in Starfield looks promising, and players can expect to see more interesting and devious missions in the years to come.
