Schedule conflicts have caused Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry to leave Ryan Murphy's forthcoming legal drama "All's Fair". Set for Hulu and featuring Kim Kardashian, the show centers on an all-woman Los Angeles law firm.
The news of Berry's leaving follows her announcement as part of the cast, which also includes Glenn Close just days ago. Berry was scheduled to be a major player on-screen and as an executive producer as well. She has chosen to leave the project, though, in response to scheduling conflicts.
Set to debut on Hulu, "All's Fair" is a fresh legal drama. Ryan Murphy's production of the show will center on a Los Angeles all-women law firm. Kim Kardashian will be executive producer and main star of the show. Through the prism of these driven and aspirational women, the show will examine the complexity of the legal environment.
For "All's Fair," Berry's leaving marks a great loss. Still, the actress has a hectic calendar ahead of hers. She is currently attached to two projects: the cult thriller "The Process" and the humorous "Maude vs. Maude" featuring Angelina Jolie.

Ryan Murphy is renowned for building varied and gifted casts for his shows. Although Berry's leaving surprises me, Murphy has a past of including surprising decisions into his work. It will be interesting to see Berry's replacement on the cast given the show is still in its early phases. "All's Fair" sounds to be a fascinating addition to Murphy's outstanding body of work.
Berry's leaving "All's Fair" lends still another level of mystery to the already intriguing undertaking. "All's Fair" is sure to be an engaging viewing with Kardashian and Close still on board and Murphy's creative vision guiding us.
