What's the Big Deal About The Vault in Borderlands?
Everyone loves a good mystery and "Borderlands" definitely has a few. It is all about exploring a wild, post-apocalyptic world where treasure seekers, called Vault Hunters, are on the hunt for something incredible - that Vault on Pandora!
What is the Vault in "Borderlands" and Why Is it So Important?
Those vaults have a super-secret and really powerful connection to ancient Eridian Technology, making the Borderlands video game universe crazy exciting. They are basically huge underground spaces where this lost, super ancient race of aliens (the Eridians) stashed their loot!
How's The Vault in the Movie?
- It's kinda different from the game, with a little bit of twist! Instead of focusing on those vault hunters, the film is all about Tiny Tina - played by Ariana Greenblatt - and how she might be the key to getting into the Vault.
- Even though she might be able to open the Vault, she doesn’t have the same role she had in Borderlands video game series, where she's an important member of the team of Vault Hunters.
What Exactly Is in That Vault?
- No one really knows! But people are trying to figure out what the heck Eridian technology could be - we know that it’s pretty powerful!
- And the biggest twist of all, we find out that Lilith is actually a big player in all of this! She's part Eridian, like those aliens - who could unlock the Vault.
- Oh, and another thing to remember? That super bad, giant monster called the Destroyer! This creature is the villain and, luckily, got stuck inside the Vault a long, long time ago, but what if it breaks free! We’ve been seeing the monster in a few scenes - what could be a potential sign that it might break free!
- It looks like those Vault Hunters could be getting a new enemy! This could mean some crazy mayhem going down.
Is There a Sequel in the Works?
- With those awesome Borderlands game characters - the world feels really awesome. And this film has some serious cool factors.
- And it just might mean we get a new adventure with a sequel, with the Destroyer as the bad guy. It will all depend on what the fans think about the movie.
Keep your eye on "Borderlands," for that potential sequel! Those Vault secrets have got everybody talking.
