What's That Running Joke About Mother's Milk in The Boys?

What Kind of Jokes Do They Use?
Remember those gross gags - all that penis joke and semen joke stuff that just pops up? That is something The Boys is super known for. In season 4, MM gets caught in yet another super disgusting joke!
Why Is This The "Sickest" Running Gag?
- The creators make it so much funnier. Like in the finale - MM has a pretty bad time after Homelander and his new supe army have the heroes rounded up.
- MM is trapped and forced into the same van as that horrifying Supe - Love Sausage, whose "love sausage", which is also part of that whole disgusting running joke, accidentally smackes him in the head - yuck. This kind of stuff is so gross and definitely puts MM in a very bad position in the show. The series loves to put MM through the wringer - think of his whole "ass-web" experience with Webweaver - all this gross humor!
Is Mother's Milk Really Unlucky?
- Think about all those tragic things they do in the show, the team goes through such intense situations! They’ve had to face the craziest things: like going to that weird orgy Herogasm, witnessing some brutal murders - and lots of death!
- He has got it rough - while some characters get away with all these crazy things happening, MM is totally at the heart of the grossest, and darkest jokes!
- That's why he is considered to be one of the most unluckiest characters.
How Does It Compare to Other Characters in "The Boys?"
- MM might be considered the most unlucky in the show, but that's a real toss up! Even Hughie gets to experience his own gross stuff, with his unfortunate tendency to get covered in blood! In the first episode he was covered with Robin's blood after A-Train plowed through her - wow! There’s a bunch of other instances where he gets splattered.
- In comparison, the dark comedy satire series really seems to make fun of the bad stuff happening to MM with those sick running sex jokes !
- The show really is something different. It doesn't shy away from crazy things but it definitely keeps the audience laughing. And to be honest, it's those super messed-up super-charged heroes that make it so much fun. That's why this show is so special!
We still need to see how they finish the last two episodes of season 4 to get the full story. They also added in these amazing new characters - so there's a lot to explore. But when you see what The Boys did to MM - and all the super messed-up things they've done - you can expect anything!
