Ben notes in the end desire to finish his surgical residency, a choice that can easily lead to Ben returning to * Grey's Anatomy* season 21. Although this does not prove his future appearance, should he return straight back to his medical career, he may show up once the medical drama returns.
Ben is not the only spin-off character that might make a comeback to their parent show, though. Since Carina DeLuca (Stefania Spampinato) first came on the show in a recurrent capacity, she is also a possible returning candidate. For some like Ben, the *Station 19* series finale marks fresh starts even though it means bidding farewell to several people who most likely won't be back. His return to * Grey's Anatomy* bridges the gap even if his conclusion is fixed in stone since his personal flash forward with Miranda and their adopted daughter clearly shows where his story ends. But with the medical drama returning later this year, it could not be too long until more of his narrative is shared.
