Stone's character, Elizabeth Halperin is an incredible, intelligent, and brave scientist who tries to find something on the ocean floor and she doesn't want anyone to get away from the mysteries, leading the group to the very top! This also means the characters, as they dive deeper, go through the power of psychological torment and get to deal with the realities of a mysterious spacecraft of alien origins.

Sphere is another Stone role that has that intellectual and emotional depth that adds another level to the whole story, making "Sphere" one of the more outstanding sci-fi movies, giving Stone a new realm to show off her talents! She was even able to work with some of the best in Hollywood Dustin Hoffman, and Samuel L. Jackson. It seemed to be the perfect balance for "Sphere and what's possible when science meets mystery.
