Why Only Murders In The Building Season 4 Might Be The Best Yet
Though season 4 currently has some things in place that might make it the strongest installment yet, each Only Murders In The Building season crafts an excellent mix of fun comedy and exciting mystery. The most crucial is that this season will be looking at the death of Sazz, whose passing is the most personal one yet for Charles, Oliver, and Mabel. This case also maybe the most hazardous the trio has looked at yet Charles may have been the planned target of the killer.
Given how vital Sazz was to Charles both emotionally and professionally, even if she was the target, this is a very personal matter. Tim Kono (Julian Cihi), the victim of Season 1, had years of personal history with Mabel, but it was of a darker kind; Charles and Sazz only had a really great friendship and professional relationship, hence Sazz's death is all the more devastating. Though they all reasonably hated season 3's victim, Ben Glenroy (Paul Rudd), the trio knew season 2's victim, Bunny Folger (Jayne Houdyshell), but were not friendly with her.

Along with a star-studded ensemble of series newcomers including Eva Longoria, Eugene Levy, Melissa McCarthy, Kumail Nanjiani, and Molly Shannon, Meryl Streep will reprise her Only Murders season 3 role as Loretta Durkin.
Only Murders in the Building's latest Instagram video features Short proclaiming, "That's a wrap!" as he, Martin, Gomez, and the staff applaud the end of season 4's filming. Look out the video down below:

The last episode of the show will be a mixed bag for viewers who are keen to see how the group will grow as they continue their research. The funny events of the show have defined its production. Viewers have been lured in and expectations for the next season have been generated by the actors' appeal and the general mood of the show.

Having the season set in Los Angeles and New York City also takes the narrative to fresh and interesting directions for its comedy and general mystery. The comeback of Streep, one of the best guest stars of the show thus far, combined with the additions of comedy icons like Levy sharing the screen with Martin, Short, and Gomez will heighten this. Season 4 of Only Murders in the Building will apparently keep stressing its best features while also adding fresh components that will keep the show a welcome hit.
