Could the Spider-Man Universe created by Sony survive with Venom 3? Here is what must occur.

Venom: The Last Dance Notifies a Significant SSU Change Requiring Action

Venom: The Last Dance will be the last Venom movie the SSU releases. Thus, in a few months the only successful franchise in the shared world will be ending. Although December's Kraven the Hunter, the first R-rated film the firm hopes for a fresh successful SSU release, shows no indication of wishing to cut off the SSU following Venom: The Last Dance. Sony must make some significant modifications nonetheless. It is rather evident that viewers are not finding resonance in the franchise's present path.

The SSU's approach to their Spider-Man-related characters has been to create films with Spider-Man villains where they startlingly lack villainy for some reason. On the other hand, Madame Web concentrated on obscure Marvel characters, which helped Venom to be the only popular series in the shared universe. As the Venom movies come to a close, the SSU must surely change course. With the largest indication that Sony is aware of that need being the apparent cancellation of Bad Bunny's El Muerto film, it seems clear the company is Stopping the filming of movies based on lesser characters is merely one aspect the studio has to focus on.

Only By Being Right To Its Name Will Sony's Spider-Man Universe succeed.

Though titled Sony's Spider-Man Universe, Peter Parker or any other variation of Spider-Man has never shown up in the SSU. Emma Roberts's portrayal of a pregnant Mary Parker, with Peter's name teased in an overtly non- Subtle manner, was the closest that has ever happened. Apart from the pregnancy story, Peter Parker hasn't shown up at the SSU yet. That might transpires in Venom: The Last Dance. Given Venom: The Last Dance is said to depict a youthful version of Peter Parker, the first teaser for the film featured a small child who might be Peter.

Though this has not been confirmed, Sony currently has no definite intentions to feature a Spider-Man in the SSU. Well, that will have to change as Venom: The Last Dance is Tom Hardy's last standalone film as the character. Since the first Venom, fans have demanded a Spider-Man to be included to the SSU. It felt as though Hardy's Eddie Brock's rendezvous with Holland's Spider-Man would at last take place when he crossed over into the MCU. But Eddie went back to the SSU following a somewhat short MCU stint.

Spider-Man's debut in The SSU

Regarding what actor should perform the SSU's Spider-Man, Sony may go in several directions and all of them would provide the studio the boost it requires to preserve the shared universe long after Venom: The Last Dance. Using Holland's Peter Parker would be the main one. The MCU's character is shared by Sony and Marvel; thus, Sony might request Holland's Spider-Man to show up in SSU movies so he may carry on at Marvel Studios. Holland might also play a variation of his Spider-Man, differentiating his MCU Peter from the SSU's.

Given the tone of the Venom films and the larger SSU, Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man would be ideal fit, therefore his comeback as the Spider-Man of Sony's shared universe would be natural. Alternatively, Tobey Maguire would be the perfect Peter Parker for the SSU since he is willing to come back for several projects as Spider-Man. Sony might potentially choose to feature its own Spider-Man, bringing in a fresh actor simultaneously Holland is in the MCU carrying the SSU. At last, Miles Morales's live-action debut might be the SSU's just-needed surge of adrenaline.

There is a perfect villain to enable the SSU to soar new distances.

Tom Hardy might be open to playing Eddie Brock once more, should he not die in the third Venom picture, for a significant Crossover even if he is done with solo films after Venom: The Last Dance. Given the direction of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, the MCU has flourished on its Avengers films. To combat a joint menace, the two films gathered the most powerful entities in the shared universe. Using that strategy, the SSU might revive the series; Knull would be the ideal villain to bring the SSU together.

In the comics, Knull created the symbiotes. Knull might be a big revelation at the film's conclusion or post-credits sequence as Venom's "home" is coming to fetch him and multiple symbiotes are either teased or visible. Then Sony might produce a Crossover film akin to Avengers combining Hardy's Venom with Madame Web and the Spider-Women, Kraven the Hunter, Morbius, and the SSU's Spider-Man to challenge Knull and his army of symbiotes. With a fresh Spider-Man, the SSU crossover could enable the series to flourish following Venom: The Last Dance.

Venom: The Last Dance Will Require a Significant SSU Change Requiring

Venom: The Last Dance will be the last Venom movie the SSU releases. Thus, in a few months the only successful franchise in the shared world will be ending. Third Venom: The New Arrival

Comprising Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock, Venom 3 is the third and last book in Sony's symbiote trilogy. It chronicles events from Let There Be Carnage, in which the anti-hero battled serial killer Cletus Kasady, and Spider-Man: No Way Home, in which Brock was momentarily sent to the MCU via the multiverse.

The first Venom: The Last Dance teaser that Sony posted verified the film fits exactly what I expected and is ideal.
