Many were disturbed by the bus catastrophe in Mayor Of Kingstown season 3, but two conversations about lines not to cross point to a horrible end for one character. The highlight of episode 7 was the horrific murder of girls Konstantin brought into the US. The tragedy focused on the bus being purposefully dropped off the bridge in spite of Mike's attempts to present it as an accident.
Since anyone could be the offender, the incident generated a climate of uncertainty even though the offender was not found. Everyone was rocked by the tragedy, but Ian and Mike, who were directly involved in the inquiry, suffered especially. But Iris suffered even more.
Mike and Ian found it challenging to learn about the last moments of the victims, which led to a discussion on the boundaries they felt unacceptable could be crossed. Mike agreed that they created it out of hope, ignoring reality, maybe since there was never a line. This chat reflected a past one Mike and Iris had had. Iris's emphasis was obviously lost. Unable to understand the emotional impact of the accident, Konstantin observed her lack of fear as she disobeyed him and turned away from the news coverage. Iris's mission could be seriously disrupted by this, thus compromising her puts her in risk. Roman knew Iris called often already. Should Iris stumble in this precarious scenario and expose her actual goals, she might suffer a worse fate than Tatiana's.
