New Power Expained by Darth Vader
Realizing between *Empire Strikes Back* and *Return of the Jedi* Palpatine could readily remove Vader's resources at will, the Dark Lord started looking for means to acquire new power outside of his master's reach in current Marvel's *Darth Vader*. This includes a partnership with the Schism Imperial, an assembly of unhappy officials and bureaucrats seeking Palpatine ousted from his throne. Vader also darkly modified a group of Rebel cyborgs called as the M.A.R Corps to serve him against their will.
Together, Darth Vader, the Schism, and the M.A.R. Corps claimed an advanced Droid army as well as a gadget competent of producing a terrible new Power source by draining the energy of entire planets. Seeing how big bits of kyber were what drove the Death Stars, Vader and his new armies have claimed this massive piece of red kyber and given the Dark Lord the ability to destroy whole worlds. But maybe when the whole article is published Vader will show more original ideas for this new red kyber.
Before Episode VI, Vader Was Most Powerful.
One may quite reasonably claim that Vader was most strong prior to *Return of the Jedi*. This is particularly significant in light of the kinds of authority Vader has been pursuing, those which Palpatine cannot readily revoke. The ultimate reality is, though, that it doesn't matter as at the opening of Episode VI Vader will still bow the knee to Palpatine. Future problems will shortly cause all of Darth Vader's new ability to fail. Having said that, Vader's loss is likely to be quite interesting and reinforces the notion that Palpatine's demise was only ever going to result from Vader's atonement.
Marvel Comics has Darth Vader #47 out June 12.
Star Wars Reveals When Darth Vader Was Most Powerful (Just Before Return of the Jedi)

Seeking fresh avenues of strength in an attempt to topple his master Emperor Palpatine, Vader's efforts in his continuous and canonical Marvel Comics series have seen the Dark Lord returning to Exegol, seeking power from Palpatine himself. For this reason, Vader's recently acquired sources of power have rather amazing overall breadth.
As shown in the new preview for Greg Pak and Raffaele Ienco's *Darth Vader* #47, Vader and his allies known as the Schism Imperial have succeeded in "The Razing of Exegol," having defeated several of Palpatine's Sith Eternal cultists and claiming the Emperor's massive piece of bled and corrupted kyber crystal. As Sly Moore of the Schism in this new first look attests to, Vader himself now possesses very amazing power:
