Marvel Studios is the one reportedly seeking for Spider-Man 4 to have a street-level tone, according to other MCU speculations; this is also what many viewers have been mentioning online.
Fallah and Arbi started with the MCU on the Ms. Marvel TV program, and early episodes showed how they could manage a superhero but on a more intimate and grounded basis. Batgirl never saw the screen, but it made perfect sense that Arbi and Fallah were chosen to lead the DC film as it too highlighted a street-level hero. Considering those attributes, if this filmmaking team is under consideration for Spider-Man 4, maybe Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios are thinking of a different tone for Holland's next film.
