Many of the scenes suggested Aoyama as the Traitor.
Actually, the first time Aoyama starts to doubt Shigaraki shows up: the USJ event. Except for Aoyama, almost as if he had some foreknowledge of this attack, practically every student was seen fighting against the villains throughout the struggle with Shigaraki and his thugs. Though this didn't necessarily indicate he received his Quirk secondhand (Dabi has a similar issue), Aoyama's Quirk is proven to be incompatible with his physique, much as Deku's; this would probably result from getting a Quirk from All for One.
Aoyama also hid and avoided the action during the attack on the Forest Training Camp. Although one could just write this off as cowardly, it's more likely in retrospect that Aoyama understood he would expose the location of the camp and that All for One must be organizing some kind of attack, which would have him hiding right away whenever things went wrong. Then there's the notorious "cheese" moment, when Aoyama leaves a menacing note on Midoriya's doorstep suggesting knowledge of his secret. This was meant to divert mistrust of Aoyama by presenting it as a fake-out, while in fact it was the truth.
Though it had long-standing background, the UA traitor plot surfaced in season 7 when Tohru Hagakure discovered Aoyama delivering information to his parents for All for One's use and subsequently unmasked the traitor's identity, despite mitigating circumstances.
At last, there's the season 6 episode in which Class 1-A launches all-out to recover Deku and return him to UA during the Dark Hero arc. Aoyama stays behind to detain the villain while practically every other kid has a sincere message for Midoriya; this finally set off Hagakure (who also stayed behind) to monitor him.
Most of these sequences are quite subtle, focusing on what Aoyama does not do rather than what he does, so it is easy for viewers to overlook the signals. Looking back now, though, it is abundantly evident that Aoyama's identification as the traitor was foretold long ahead of time. At this point, the traitor storyline might seem like too little, too late, but My Hero Academia truly did try to set the stage for this reveal.

Could viewers have found UA's traitor before the premiere? Alert: My Hero Academia Season 7 spoilers for Episodes 3 and 4 First hinted at almost a hundred episodes ago, My Hero Academia has at last revealed the identity of the UA Traitor—Yuga Aoyama, AKA "Can't Stop Twinkering." Many fans were surprised by the disclosure; some believe it came out of nowhere as the reveal wasn't subtly hinted at earlier. Still, were there any hints suggesting Aoyama all around?
Actually, there were quite a few signs toward Aoyama's identification as the traitor, albeit all of them were quite faint events that viewers would have readily missed. These hints span the first season and imply that series producer Kohei Horikoshi had the traitor in mind from the very start.
Certain people in My Hero Academia possess quirks—superpowers. Not among them is Izuku Midoriya, sometimes known as Deku. Since he was a young child, Deku has always desired to be a hero; he idolizes heroes like All Might, the top hero. now his lack of a quirk has always held him back; now, a serendipitous meeting with All Might after learning of a classmate in peril sets Deku on the road to be a real hero. Deku and a class of hero-in-training at UA form the main focus of My Hero Academia. By means of simulated rescue missions, military training, and other hero-tempering activities, this institution transforms young quirk users into future heroes. Having young Deku acquire the "One-For- All" quirk, he will discover what it takes to be a real hero competing against diabolical supervillains.
