Is Null Really Demise?
Null is a formidable, dark entity in Echoes of Wisdom. But this is where things can start to get a little more complicated.
A common element in many video game series is bringing back memorable characters, or hinting that a character could be another!
And "Echoes of Wisdom " might just be hiding some of these great details. This includes an awesome Zelda villain that everyone remembers, known as Demise from "Skyward Sword" . In Echoes of Wisdom there seems to be a shared lineage! This Null looks like a similar character from the "Skyward Sword "series!
In the timeline for Zelda. Demise appeared much later in "Skyward Sword"! A truly special entity, Demise had immense power in Hyrule's world and was in the ultimate battle with Link and Zelda in this classic show. There's no stopping these two who have the power to seal away Demise!
Discovering Null in the Zelda Lore
To find what makes "Echoes of Wisdom " special we have to consider how the Golden Goddesses, Nayru, Din, and Farore, brought about the Zelda Universe. What they did was really special!
- They even got a new home with the creation of the "Triforce!"
What really sets this game apart, is a deeper, more interesting twist. You can only truly beat Null using the Triforce and its powerful energy.
When Null is beaten by Zelda and Link. It means their plan for this amazing world can truly come to fruition. It looks like their journey was an impressive success in creating Hyrule!
If we're taking the perspective of the Golden Goddesses, they may have just been building this beautiful world in order to seal this entity for a truly evil force! They have been working to stop Null ever since.
But "Echoes of Wisdom " looks like it could really challenge that, as Null could have the ability to spread all over Hyrule as they move back in and out of the "rifts." That's something a powerful being that created such great power with their powerful weapon, "Tri,". Null may have seen through their attempts! Hyrule is not completely secure! The whole game, "Echoes of Wisdom" was part of the plan. They were on a quest to regain control of the Triforce and get to a part of "Hyrule " that looked to be very close to a true home,
What is special is that Null didn't want anything more than to just be left alone and be left in peace. So this might mean something big is on the horizon! In fact "Echoes of Wisdom" was about the start of Null coming back! Fans of "Zelda" will surely be ready for some crazy adventure if this "Null" storyline keeps showing up in future installments. "Null " might have been asleep for a really long time!
It looks like those in Hyrule better be prepared because there's only one way to deal with this kind of chaos. With "The Legend of Zelda" there are always new stories waiting to be explored.
