Jon Turteltaub, the director of the first National Treasure, argues Nicolas Cage's negative comments about the film justify themselves. "Thus, you move from... when you are twenty, you have great enthusiasm, 'Your film is going to get done! You are going to make a film! And at last you start to resemble, "Maybe I don't know. I know the movie is under production, hence they tell me to show up for duty. But I'm not wasting energy wondering, hoping, and then let down later on..."
