Cars in Fallout Take Many Players By Surprise
The retrofuturistic vehicles in Fallout surprise many first-time players, particularly considering their lethal power. Many new players have been left surprised when a stray bullet unintentionally causes a car to explode with the force of a little nuclear explosion, mostly due to the atomic engine fitting beneath the hood. While a veteran of the franchise knows how to transform a roadway into a strategic killbox to eliminate even the toughest enemies, standing too close to one of these detonations would most certainly cause a rapid death.
Often it is possible to lead adversaries away from their center of operations into a parking lot or other similar facility containing multiple automobiles in the Boston area, which is so packed with Super Mutants and Raiders. Usually triggered to explode directly next to an attacker, these strong automobiles can be set off with some patience and a decent aim to produce a significantly less threatening mound of ash. Just be advised that chain reactions are really likely and can often transform a brilliant strategy into soured plan.
Fallout 4 Player Highlights Vehicle Danger, But Now How You Would Expect
Although Fallout 4's portrayal of the Commonwealth and the wasteland is full of unthinkable post-apocalyptic horrors, players sometimes overlooked the modest car as one of the most lethal weapon. Given that most of the RPG takes place in Boston's collapsing ruins, it makes sense that the Sole Survivor stumbles across dozens of abandoned vehicles as they follow the several streets and roads. Though it goes both ways, those vehicles are not only stage dressing; a veteran of the series can tell anyone they can be a strong weapon.
Posted to Reddit by user SirBWills, the player shows the risk of suddenly round house kicks by walking too near one of the numerous atomic-powered cars of the Commonwealth. The car in issue manages to make an almost complete rotation on the spot as SirBWills arrives, shattering their character and killing them instantaneously, so the humous description suits very well. Given the vehicle's already Glitched posture, which sees it clipped inside of a sign post, it is definitely an amusing but rather annoying problem most likely caused by that.
Although Fallout 4 features explosive vehicles, it is quite rare to see them kill a player without any form of blast.
Although it's rare, a Glitch causing a car to land a "round house kick" is not particularly surprising considering Bethesda's buggy character of their games. Just shows that in the wasteland even the most ordinary objects could be lethal.
