In their trip to Regency-era England in Doctor Who Season 14's episode 6, balls, a laser pistol-toting Rogue, and romance await Ncuti Gatwa's Fifteenth Doctor and Millie Gibson. With goblins, secret origins, and the Doctor's struggle with his complicated past, the newest TARDIS squad convened in 2023's holiday special "The Church on Ruby Road." Over eight episodes, the Doctor and Ruby's exploits have thus far brought them to far-off space stations, 1960s London, alien battlefields, parallel realities, and a highly superior society hiding a terrible truth.
The official Doctor Who YouTube channel debuted a teaser for Season 14's next adventure after "Dot and Bubble's" gut-wrenching finale. Under the title "Rogue," the episode finds the Doctor and Ruby visiting a ball from the Regency era. But among the festivities there lurks Jonathan Groff's gunman Rogue and shapeshifting aliens.

Traveling time and space with different companions, the Doctor solves several problems and helps prevent catastrophe as much as he almost causes using an interdimensional time-traveling ship called the TARDIS. Though the Doctor is always the same character, they regenerate to be recast every few seasons as a different immortal being with fresh personality traits.

In new stories, UNIT might take the stage; perhaps the showrunner will be able to bring the production back to life.
