The Greatest, Most Underused Ally of The Flash is Pied Piper.
Pied Piper used to be a member of the famed criminal gang known as the Rogues within The Flash years ago. Rathaway, though, turned over a fresh leaf soon after Crisis on Infinite Earths. Piper was rebuilt and has not returned to his former nefarious ways even after continuity was disrupted once more during the New 52. Barry Allen was naturally dubious that Rathaway participated in the present cosmic turmoil the Flash Family has discovered themselves caught in. Hartley is still on the up and running, though, as he collaboratively works with Michael Holt at Terrifitech.
Hartley Rathaway hasn't committed crimes lately, but he has somewhat stagnated. Oh yeah, he has been rather helpful at Terrifitech and has been supporting Inspector Pilgrim in handling the DC Universe's issue. But Pied Piper has evolved far from his days as a villain. Actually changed, he is ready to assist The Flash anytime he needs it. One could say that he would benefit from becoming a more proactive hero. Making Pied Piper a bigger Flash ally could be a wise move for both James Gunn and Peter Safran considering DCU is soon to arrive.
One Villain-Turned-Ally Is a Crucial Sidekick If James Gunn's DCU Revamps the Flash.
Though James Gunn's Flash might be years away, he surely must bring his most helpful Sidekick when he debuts. Thanks to his enemies' most recent scheme, the world of the Scarlet Speedster is flipping upside down. One unexpected friend, though, reveals exactly how helpful a partner the Fastest Man Alive has.
Inspector Pilgrim explores the cosmic crises with reformed villain Pied Piper, aka Hartley Rathaway, in Simon Spurrier, Ramon Perez, and Vasco Georgiev's The Flash #9. When the two head depart the head office of the Linear Bureau to pick Linda Park-West's kid, they find the Flash under Crown of Thawnes' power. Flash tells Rathaway Linda has been mind-controlled by Abra Kadabra; he begs Hartley to cut the signal. Pied Piper pulls out his flute and performs a tune revealing Abra that lets Flash's wife punch the renegade's lights out, therefore neutralizing Kadabra's menace.
Pied Piper Should Partner Flash Going Forward
Among the few Flash enemies that have changed and stayed that way is Pied Piper. He is the best illustration of the good influence the Scarlet Speedster has on his adversaries. Not to add Piper's acoustic ability fit Flash's vibrations. The Flash #9 sees Pied Piper ride or die with the fastest man alive, yet there is no clue as to the DCU's Flash would be. Pied Piper should be right there with the Flash each time he graces the silver screen.
DC Comics currently have The Flash #9 on sale.
The Flash: An Ancestral History
The D.C. comics character known as The Flash, who uses unmatched speed connected to a dimensional power called the "speed force" o overpower their opposition, is the superhero name given to Originally appearing in 1939, the Flash showed up as Jay Garrick. Still, Barry Allen's prominence and featured status would eclipse it, but the Flash is one character that has encountered many of their other selves. Usually, the Justice League consists of the figure in almost all versions.
Although The Flash features many wonderful characters, few can challenge Pied Piper. An amazing illustration of a terrific villain turning hero is Pied Piper. Hopefully he will show up in next movies.
