Himawari Shows Greater Control Over Ninetails Chakra than Naruto
In Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter #11, Himawari Uzumaki discovers and unleashes Kurama's power as the new Ninetails jinchuriki, with her most impressive feat perhaps being to form a Biju Bomb. This is incredible due not only to having just met Kurama, but also to how it implicitly means she can finesse the black chakra to white chakra ratio while remaining lucid. Naruto couldn't even exercise this level of control immediately, as shown in Naruto chapter #519. However, he later manifests the incredible Biju Bomb with Kurama's help in chapter #571, so perhaps Himawari will soon do the same.
It's important to remember that Himawari only just discovered Kurama was present within her and that she could already use his abilities while only fourteen. Naruto fully tames Kurama by seventeen, only after years of turmoil and near-misses, including Kurama taking over his body, such as during the Pain's Assault Arc and as early as the Land of Waves Arc. A major factor to Himawari's advantages is that Kurama is willing to help her directly. He also confirms that Himawari has more affinity with him than Naruto.
Himawari's Healing Is Boosted in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex
Along with manifesting a Biju Bomb, Himawari shows the Uzumaki clan's innate talent for self-healing and the healing of others in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter #11. She heals her broken leg and, perhaps more crucially, saves Inojin from his otherwise fatal impalement in chapter #10. The Uzumaki clan can normally achieve similar feats at the expense of great amounts of chakra, something that's no longer an issue thanks to Kurama's reserves within Himawari in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex.
Having innate talents for both healing and immense offensive power and channeling a Biju's ultimate attack makes Himawari a strong candidate for surpassing Naruto, at least as a jinchuriki. As Himawari has not acquired Sage Mode or other enhanced modes through Kurama or the Sage of the Six Paths, she's not yet on the same ground as Naruto in his prime. But as Kurama notes, Himawari's ability to channel the Ninetails chakra has the greatest potential yet, promising raw power even greater than Naruto's in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex.
Himawari Gets Support from Kurama in Two Blue Vortex
Kurama, the Nine-Tailed Fox, is the source of Himawari's new power and strength in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex. While Naruto Uzumaki was the previous Jinchuriki, Kurama's spirit became a symbol of the grim toll exacted on Konohagakure. Kurama's power became one of Naruto's greatest assets, but there was a period of struggle and turmoil where he even lost control of Kurama at certain times, like during the Pain's Assault Arc and as early as the Land of Waves Arc.
In Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, Kurama's relationship with Himawari is drastically different. Kurama is willing to help Himawari directly, a stark contrast to Naruto's experiences. He even confirms that Himawari has more affinity with him than Naruto. This level of support from Kurama gives Himawari an advantage over her father, allowing her to quickly access and utilize the Ninetails' power.
Is Himawari More Powerful than Naruto in Two Blue Vortex?
With Kurama's direct support, Himawari has a chance to channel the same Ninetails power that made Naruto such a formidable shinobi. It's not a moment too soon, either, with Jura and other imminent threats threatening Himawari and her team. The comparison between Naruto and Himawari is fascinating. Naruto faced a lot of challenges in controlling Kurama, but in the end, he managed to fully harness the Ninetails' power, even utilizing its chakra to develop new jutsu.
However, Himawari seems to have a head start in terms of control and affinity with Kurama. While she's only fourteen, her abilities are already impressive. Kurama believes that Himawari's potential is even greater than Naruto's, hinting at a future where she could surpass him in power. While the full extent of Himawari's power is yet to be revealed, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex is setting the stage for an exciting story of a new jinchuriki wielding the Ninetails' power and potentially becoming a formidable force in the shinobi world.
