Lottie Matthews is the defender for the soccer team. And you can see that her personality comes from both Courtney Eaton and Simone Kessell who give audiences a remarkable take on this key character.
A character, who is just a tad dark and twisted, Misty Quigley - played by Samantha Hanratty and Christina Ricci.
Natalie Scatorccio is a very cool character as she plays midfield, bringing us some wild characters from Sophie Thatcher and Juliette Lewis.
A character with so much power Shauna Shipman - playing midfielder- brings a fascinating look at this character through Sophie Nélisse and Melanie Lynskey.
You may recognize her! Taissa Turner, an integral part of this show. Played by the wonderful stars Jasmin Savoy Brown and Tawny Cypress.
If you can't forget, Travis Martinez was one of the standout characters played by Kevin Alves, who plays Travis when he's younger and Andres Soto. They help make this role stand out as someone with a powerful legacy to take care of.

With an ensemble cast that has captivated fans all over the globe, it was inevitable, but shocking, to have some tragic events take place. The first major tragedy was with the coach- Bill Martinez. It's hard to stomach these moments but the way he died was horrible! He got thrown out of the plane! And then he was impaled by a tree branch. That leaves fans in shock but does bring "Yellowjackets" into a dark reality that will only continue throughout the seasons. It doesn't take too long to get to "Yellowjackets.", Season 1 really shows how much things are going to evolve as the players find out the reality of surviving a crash in the woods. The mystery continues!

What does Yellowjackets, season 1 have to offer?

Well, it does include, the heartbreaking passing of Travis Martinez. Natalie Scatorccio is shocked! After discovering his body in a truly disturbing location! While it appeared to be suicide at first!

The real cause of "Travis" passing didn't unfold until Season 2, "Yellowjackets"! As fans will remember. This story is even more dark. What happens in season 2, is a scene where we see Natalie trying her best to help everyone understand just what was going on! The discovery of the true reason why "Travis" passed away gave audiences a true twist on the entire series, adding another layer to an already complicated show.

The episode "Flight of the Bumblebee", features another death. And the death of a sweet, kind character was especially gut wrenching! This is when "Yellowjackets" introduced its biggest shocking revelation yet. As the show features the character "Laura Lee".

In an inspiring effort. "Laura Lee" attempted to pilot a plane to get help after their crash. This really emphasizes a theme in the show that there's always hope!

What unfolds is just one of those tragic moments in "Yellowjackets". Her stuffed teddy bear gets caught on fire! And sadly for audiences that are always watching for the best. She died of smoke inhalation! It was Lottie Matthews who ended up spiraling into even more chaos, as it was really hard to cope after her dear friend's death. You can see in season 2, and it's been established that this would have a powerful impact on how Lottie becomes a powerful presence in the forest.

One thing that "Yellowjackets" has always brought! It doesn't matter if you are in the "present" or "past" you will experience moments of drama. We get a look at how those that lived through those shocking moments as these girls face new obstacles in the 2021 narrative!

"Yellowjackets" introduces Adam Martin, a truly twisted man, whose entire reason for even existing in this series is to complicate the lives of these survivors!

"Shauna Shipman" falls in love with "Adam," an interesting take. Because she starts to think that her husband "Jeff", is seeing another person,
She finds out "Adam" had a shocking past, including blackmailer to the players!
"Shauna" then kills "Adam".

Even though "Adam" isn't going to be in the show much longer! The death sets off a truly awesome moment that comes to light Season 2 of "Yellowjackets." It leads to the main star Shauna Shipman to almost get busted by detectives, but "Jeff" really helps her! You can see it! She has that darker side. But also has that "bad" streak that was almost a part of the girls, even back in 1996.

It was important to add more spice to "Yellowjackets," and it was really something special to introduce the character "Gloria DeGenaro".

She doesn't get a lot of attention in the beginning but really, there is an interesting role and "Yellowjackets" season 1 helps her leave a big impact on a major thread in the series.

For those of you that watch, you will have a sense that this is a woman who Misty Quigley needs to take care of.

"Gloria DeGenaro", a special figure who doesn't really get all that much attention and is more of a character in "Misty" life, had to help get some clues together!
That brings in a twist- that the scene opens and we see "Gloria" had a stroke and passed away!
But wait! There's a lot more going on with her death. The fact that "Gloria" was helping to hide the details about "Adam" that was still part of the story in the season finale. In fact, she was brought into the story because "Shauna", needed someone to cover up the big mystery around the body that would come to light in Season 2. She ends up hiding a major clue in "Gloria" coffin.

One last person to really round this series! It brings us to "Yellowjackets." and one last important character!

The woman known as "Jessica Roberts" was a bit suspicious from the very start, to be fair!

She really comes out as a reporter who's looking to take those who survived in the past.
She also has a chance to get that amazing scoop story!

But in one scene Misty Quigley goes over the line, and really did something outlandish! She's going to make sure "Jessica", was not going to be a thorn in her side, in that moment, but even her role, ends in tragedy, and her role brings one powerful question for fans!

How did this all end up happening, as the series goes on!

That means it gets very intense. You will see the actions, "Misty" is going to take! Those actions are even worse in the show! In this specific instance, she gave the reporter drugs in a dangerous move that is meant to be very chilling and really leaves an impact on viewers as to just how "Yellowjackets" deals with such major plot points! This death, and the way that Misty acted really brought to light that Misty was not one to make enemies and didn't think twice about getting what she wants, no matter the cost! You can see her doing it to Taissa because it looks like "Taissa" was going to ruin her big dreams. That story will become more interesting, and possibly even more intense, in season 3!

There are more major story points and a character who leaves those watching, on edge!
