Saying it "blew [his] f*cking mind," Walton Goggins teasers the great enigma of season 3 of The White Lotus Designed, produced, and written by Mike White, the Emmy award-winning HBO series tracks the guests and staff of the namesake resort brand, with each season situated in a different dream location. Shortly following his outstanding performance as Cooper Howard/The Ghoul in Prime Video's Fallout show, Goggins will be checking in to The White Lotus in season 3, which will be set in Thailand and also stars Leslie Bibb, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, and Patrick Schwarzenegger, just to name a few.
Goggins hinted to The White Lotus season 3's major mystery during an appearance on Josh Horowitz's Happy Sad Confused podcast, noting that reading Mike White's scripts "blew [his] f*cking mind." The Emmy-nominated actor claims that although reading the screenplays, he first didn't see how all the many components of the plot would come together, but once they did, he was greatly affected and also found it humorous. The White Lotus season 3 does not have any official plot information, hence one must rely on little hints from those engaged and past seasons to guess about the future direction. Following the conclusion of season 2, White said in 2022 that the third will be a "satirical and funny look at death and Eastern religion and spirituality." Goggins's remarks now seem to support the idea that season 3 is indeed hilarious but also poignant.
Natasha Rothwell as Belinda, reprising her role as the resort's kind and spiritual spa manager who forms a complex relationship with Tanya ( Jennifer Coolidge) in season 1, providing her emotional support while also pitching a possible wellness business to the wealthy heiress. The only returning member of The White Lotus season 3 cast is Belinda is back, hence season 3 will probably carry on her journey when Tanya first pledges to pay for her wellness spa only later to withdraw her support and fund Greg's activities, leaving Belinda disappointed as she throws aside her ambitions.
They blasted my f*cking mind guy. Like one would expect if given the chance to read a Mike White script, I had expectations but could not see where it was headed. When I completely understood the totality of what Mike was trying to say in this third season of this cultural juggernaut, I was overcome with emotion and laughed throughout it and it's been yet another experience of a lifetime. I didn't see how all these pieces in this puzzle would fit together.
Like Goggins, Rothwell has hinted that the scripts for season three are so unexpected she "gasped out loud a minimum of five times" while reading them. This suggests a fascinating narrative in which the viewer will not be able to predict future events.
