When Is The Rookie Season 7 Coming Out?

Hold on to your hats, folks, 'cause The Rookie Season 7 is coming, and it's going to be a wild ride! We can expect it to be airing in early 2025 - ABC decided to move it to a different season. You might be thinking - what is happening to the cop drama with all this moving around? Well, the main reason for the shift is those election cycles! ABC wants The Rookie to keep all of its fans, so moving it means viewers won't miss an episode because it's a time that lots of people are tuning in to political news!

You can bet Nathan Fillion, that awesome actor, is gonna be there. He's the star, remember! We are talking about the man who played John Nolan, - that "oldest rookie" cop who got the whole thing started! That's why we still want more Rookie Cop moments, with this action packed cop drama!

Season 7 is a bit of a shift! The Rookie won't be missing all of its familiar faces - we got those superhero cop show stars coming back, but one of the big cast changes is that Tru Valentino is gone - he was part of the series for a while, and now The Rookie will move forward with the new Season 7 Cast!
Don't be upset, we also get some cool newbies. The writers got a few new folks. We are going to get more awesome rookies! There’s Deric Augustine - you'll probably hear a lot more about him as he brings in his new Texan role as Miles! The other one is Patrick Keleher - we’ll see him in the fast-paced, action-packed world of The Rookie! We don't know yet, but maybe they are joining The Rookie and will become a big part of the show!

What's The Deal With Those Ratings?

It’s one of ABC’s biggest TV shows. We're talkin' lots of viewers and ratings. It made so much noise on television, they knew they needed more! That’s why they decided to have a few extra seasons. And even though those ratings will be a big part of how the show goes - I think it still is amazing, and there are fans out there who think that the whole idea of John Nolan trying to become an LAPD Officer, is really great, and this story still has so much more to give us.

So When Will The Trailer Come Out?

The producers have only confirmed Season 7 of The Rookie. That's it. It's really too early to find out those big details. The big trailer, with a sneak peek into those The Rookie episodes, could pop up at some point in late 2024.
