While we have seen glimpses of the Shire in The Hobbit and the incredible Lord of the Rings movies, we can now discover the detailed and long-awaited origins in Amazon's The Rings of Power. This answers some longstanding questions about Hobbit races and their incredible journey to their idyllic home.
Although The Hobbit takes place 60 years prior to the events of The Lord of the Rings, and introduces the Hobbit storyline, J.R.R. Tolkien doesn't fully explain their move to this magical area. In the lore, the Shire was created in 1601 of the Third Age. It mentions their travel from over the Misty Mountains and even suggests there might have been locations where the Hobbits lived before this final destination. Even though the details were never fully established, The Rings Of Power may offer the answers you've been seeking!
In Amazon's epic TV show, The Rings of Power will feature a journey from the "Harfoots" into Rings of Power season 2, introducing the "Stoors". There's also the group known as "Fallohides." All these Hobbit races will be linked to one another, adding depth and complexity to this history that Tolkien created.
The Rings of Power tells a story of searching and discovery! It is said that Rorimas Burrows, the ancestor of one of the Harfoot's leaders, called Sadoc Burrows, dreams about a hidden and special place, eventually dubbed as the Sûzat. This location fits perfectly with Tolkien's description of the Shire. But, for years, their quest continues as their journey is long. Rings of Power season 2 will be able to explain just how it comes together!
Be prepared for more twists in this fantasy world. In Rings of Power season 2 we will discover what brought all the Hobbits races together. In this adventure, a unique leader like Nori, is going to help the different Hobbit tribes discover this place called the Shire, fulfilling a prophecy. It is an event that's very special for Star Wars and Tolkien fans. You'll need to tune in to The Rings of Power to discover just how this prophecy will unfold.
As we delve further into the past, and look to a future filled with incredible scenes of heroism and war, we will find the Battle of Dagorlad. While Tolkien has chronicled it as occurring near the end of the Second Age, it would make for some amazing movie scenes, showcasing a time before Lord of the Rings.
This show will leave fans breathless, so watch out for more updates for The Rings of Power release date. If you haven't seen The Rings of Power cast in action yet, now is a great time to binge watch! You can catch it on Prime Video!
