Fans of The Conners are getting ready for the final season, but there's some news that might leave some viewers feeling a little uneasy!

This beloved spin-off of Roseanne is wrapping things up with its 7th season, set to be released sometime between late 2024 and early 2025, according to The Hollywood Reporter. But before the finale even airs, one of the stars, Emma Kenney, who plays Harris Conner, announced on Instagram that she'd already finished filming her scenes for the season in early October 2024!

This early wrap is causing a bit of a stir among fans! It seems pretty weird considering the show's short season with only six episodes! It leaves many to believe Harris might not be around for some big finale moments. That's a shame for viewers, too, considering her storyline really could have used a great ending, instead of a super rushed goodbye!

Harris has been in the show since Roseanne's season 10 revival in 2017. What's particularly intriguing was a beginning of great promise!

Season 6 started well as Harris showed initiative by stepping up to take over Jackie's restaurant, The Lunchbox!
Sadly, things quickly went downhill after this early success!
Harris started going off-track a bit, ending up a bit lost as a young adult and her time at the restaurant had nothing to do with that specific development. It felt a bit uneven.
Season 6 ended with some unexpected, and somewhat nice news, with Harris finally choosing to move out! That showed her willingness to grow.

With Kenney's early filming wrap, it is widely believed that Harris might leave Lanford before the season ends. A likely reason: She may have money problems! Maybe she can't afford living in town!

Therefore, viewers expect The Conners to focus their efforts on ending Harris's storyline on a positive, heartwarming and moving way.

Fans hope for the best! The ending of this season needs to give proper closures and even acknowledge how difficult the ending of a beloved series is going to be, especially because this is supposed to be a heartwarming ending! However, fans are left hoping there's something in store and that even with an unexpected twist the series may get us some fantastic surprise moments and that could potentially mean more than just a typical sitcom spinoff conclusion! With only six episodes to go in season 7, you can't ignore the mystery!
