Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Timeline - Everything You Need To Know

Star Trek has been around since the 1960s! From that first "Star Trek" television show, we got this epic sci-fi universe! But it was a show that took us far into the future and brought us to some new characters. That included Captain Pike!

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and The Timeline

This show's arrival brought Star Trek: Strange New Worlds which is set before, "The Original Series". If you thought there wasn't more of Star Trek left to watch. This series has taken fans by storm as the iconic USS Enterprise was given a new look! With a mix of classic stars and some fresh faces. We see what happened right after Star Trek: Discovery season two when they decided to journey through the galaxy!

In this timeline, Discovery ended its adventures around 2258. The spinoff, Strange New Worlds is set several months later, so the year would be 2259.

As a big fan of Star Trek that is going to be the one thing you know! If you want to understand what happened in a series that features the most beloved group from Star Trek - we are back to the first USS Enterprise that took on the adventure!

Now Strange New Worlds might have some interesting, even surprising aspects in store! We already know that Pike was fated to lose a huge portion of his body due to "delta rays", and had a tough fate!

Strange New Worlds had one shocking scene at the end! And it even included the one, and only, "Spock."!

That's just the kind of stuff that Star Trek has! All these elements that you just can't predict. For Spock and Pike, their fates are interweaved as Pike could be left in a wheelchair and Spock would face incredible difficulties in an awesome fight that happened.

Changing The Star Trek Universe

Strange New Worlds also brought in some real head-turning details as the series launched! While it may look a lot like the shows fans love from "Star Trek." It's really created a major shake up to the universe as Star Trek had some big changes with a series of historic events in "Earth"'s history! We learned about World War III. That event has moved up, and it seems the Eugenics Wars, a significant moment that brought chaos and a sense of tension have both been moved up.

It appears the whole team has looked to put it all in a modern world perspective that helps bring these shows to new fans!

To add a huge plot twist, we got to learn more in the season two episode "Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow." A lot more details about these time travelers! They wanted to bring a little destruction and mess things up in Earth's history! What was interesting, as an event, is that it impacts one of Star Trek's more infamous figures, Khan Noonien Singh! Who had such a significant impact on "Star Trek, who would become an enemy to Captain Kirk.

Khan. A young boy now, living a quiet life in Toronto as opposed to the adult role from the past who dominated Earth!

While things may look like they have changed with these twists and turns. One element, that cannot change is how the show takes us from Discovery to the world of The Original Series, even though things have changed a lot!

It seems the Star Trek universe has its own Timeline! But what's for sure, is there's plenty of action! It all happens on a big stage!
