Announcing the first-ever vinyl edition of the *Star Trek Into Darkness* score excites Screen Rant. A-list movie composer and *Werewolf by Night* director Michael Giacchino provides music for the picture; his past works include *Inside Out*, *Rogue One: A Star Wars Story*, and *Jojo Rabbit*. Though there is a possibility that Whoopi Goldberg could make a comeback to *Star Trek* in the upcoming movie, other casting decisions are obviously unverified. The reason for the ambiguity is probably Yockey hasn't finished the script yet, which sadly probably indicates the movie is a few years off.
