Life After SEAL Team

The most important moments. Even as SEAL Team came to a close! "Sonny" Quinn is well-loved! As the finale got to its final minutes, a major turn came. He wanted to protect the SEAL Team's and the United States Navy's integrity.

Sonny confessed to an event that he really should have taken ownership of earlier in the season! But his actions had far reaching consequences as well, impacting his relationship with his girlfriend "Lisa"! After confessing, this means that "Sonny" no longer works with the Navy SEALs and goes with "Lisa" to D.C., to continue his mission of helping the US government!

There are other members of this iconic crew who moved on in an epic and incredible way, including "Ray." Ray wanted to give a new path and opportunity to help veterans.

While viewers might think that Jason was going to retire, it's revealed in a twist that Ray is the one that makes this big life change. And it is something he has been wanting for so long! He wasn't sure that helping the veterans at the center would be something that he wanted and had decided to leave! In a major twist. It is Ray, who was tapped as Head of Warfighter Health. He also takes the helm at DEVGRU.

With this, it makes sense for everyone that SEAL Team made these final moments happen and truly closed out this series. The decision of the show ending was very deliberate, as explained in an interview by David Boreanaz.

  • There had been several key elements at play!
  • The creative crew wanted to find the "perfect way" to conclude Jason's storyline.

This may be what pushed Paramount to decide on a Season 7 final ending!

  • David Boreanaz wanted to walk away and wasn't looking to do any more seasons of SEAL Team, no matter if it continued on.
  • The strikes really had an effect on the series!

While it was tough to say goodbye, these soldiers were not just actors in a series! There's a great deal of excitement as well. SEAL Team is one for the ages. While it's going to be sad for all those "Bravo Team" fans. The show created amazing stories that will leave a long-lasting impact!
