The Rings of Power is known for taking the audience back to an era long before The Lord of the Rings and giving viewers some of the coolest moments with unforgettable characters.
id="the-betrayal-of-adar">The Betrayal of Adar:It's a big twist in this world, even more so for a character called Adar. The Rings of Power series takes us back to the Second Age and how this villain was able to create a force to be reckoned with, Orcs!
In Season 2, this evil figure was doing everything to keep "Mordor" a place where his "Orc children", were able to live! It looked like he had all of these goals, all for the benefit of those he called his own. He looked to shield them from an evil force, "Sauron", a character whose purpose was to gain control over every Orc. To do so, Sauron wanted them as soldiers. Adar wanted nothing more than to stop this terrible, violent destiny!
A Horrible Turn
With the series' finale, things took an exciting twist. This was more dramatic than some viewers expected. Adar and his children became more than just a force, but they're the epic, unforgettable characters who make this entire series so intense!
Even though Sauron has long been associated with his Orcs. This has a dramatic twist and makes fans ponder even further, just what made them betray Adar in the newest episode of "The Rings of Power!"
What Happened in the Finale?
If you want the back story, Adar goes to Elrond and takes his Ring of Power!
If this isn't epic enough for a show!
- It has an interesting twist.
- Adar has his plan! He wanted to keep those under his "care" safe! To defeat Sauron
With that in mind he went straight for the heart of the bad guys and looked to take down "Eregion". It wasn't really a choice! It was what he needed to do, even though he was certain to fight. He also suspected that the Orcs would remain committed and this made the attack so powerful and consequential!
Adar even thought his own actions had a huge impact! A profound ability that only got him killed.
Reasons for the Discontent
To fully understand Adar's demise. This wasn't just a story of sudden conflict. In fact, this was built throughout the course of the show. A sense of uneasiness!
- There's so much about Mordor, in how this landscape formed.
- The Orcs came to be at a very specific time.
- Adar is blamed for this event, an occurrence where the Mount Doom had a powerful eruption and as a result of his actions.
- His Orc children were left with no other choice but to go into this place.
- The volcano caused some pretty catastrophic and dark events to take place! It made their lives harder as they were unaccustomed to these environments.
What makes this tragic turn, even more dramatic is how Adar had so much compassion. The Orcs were going to be protected! But there is this special quality of leadership. They knew this was their father.
How Did Sauron Win The Orcs Over?
Even though Adar felt like the Orcs were safe. There was another powerful entity and a cunning manipulator.
This powerful and manipulative individual was Sauron! You won't believe how it worked. Sauron disguised himself! He made himself look just like a mortal named "Halbrand", with amazing charm and a clever strategy! This made Adar go to a war with Sauron! To defend those he cared about most.
What worked so perfectly? This set of events. All Sauron needed was an opportunity and his chance! It's all he needed to do, convince them he's better than what Adar has to offer.
In a moment Sauron started gaining the trust of those he planned to deceive. As an Orc, who managed to go into Celebrimbor's Forge and made their way back, as it appeared to be in support of Sauron.
id="a-sad-end">A Sad End:You know there is going to be a tragic ending! All that came into play was Sauron's incredible magic powers!
His plan involved taking his new subjects, the Orcs to Adar. This happened while they were fighting. A deceptive approach that involved using the Orc's weapon, in the exact same method that Adar used on Sauron hundreds of years earlier. He died again. Even after Adar's demise. They chose Sauron.
It was a move, full of terror as Adar got his warning. Those Orcs might realize they made a bad move but in their minds and with all that was happening they felt like they didn't have a choice! There wasn't anything more to give them hope!
This may seem a bleak way to end an awesome series. The future of the Orcs is bleak as well! The Orcs continue their existence, as creatures that are under a curse, always forced to live in the shadows! That leaves viewers with some big thoughts!
What makes The Rings of Power so intriguing? These tragic events. That reminds audiences just what can happen. Even for Sauron. Fans are eagerly awaiting what comes in Season 3 of this remarkable fantasy series!
