Rings of Power Season 2 Finale: Adar's Death — A Mirrored Revenge?

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power season 2 finale brought an end to Adar's reign of terror, and some sharp viewers have noted an interesting parallel!

Foreshadowing Adar's Death:

This Amazon series, gave some really cool hints in the very first episode that Adar was doomed! It seems that Sauron's death, a flashback seen in the first episode was similar to Adar's demise. That's not something you would normally look out for when a series releases!

This is certainly one for the ages as the storyline shows that Adar stabbed Sauron in that opening scene. Later on in the show, Sauron is able to defeat Adar. But that wasn't just any kill! They gave a mirroring effect. That same approach, was seen as Sauron dealt the killing blow on Adar! The visual aspects were even mirrored! Even down to the camera angles and those shots of their bodies!

Most fans felt this was likely going to occur at some point. Sauron is the big bad. However, no one ever thought that this would happen exactly the way it did. That really made fans talk about what it meant and adds a new kind of symmetry and depth! Fans have been looking to get their minds engaged for such a complex storyline! This new layer of detail is appreciated for many viewers as it brings an entirely different depth to the narrative.

Was Sauron's Revenge Intentional?
