After seven episodes of guessing and theorizing about who Bloody Rose was and why she was after Imogen, Tabby, Faran, Mouse, and Noa, the Pretty Little Liars: Summer School finale explained (almost) all the questions that had been raised during the season while still leaving the door open for a possible third season. Creators Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Lindsay Calhoon Bring teased the big Bloody Rose reveal since the first episode, with characters and fans guessing who the bad guy could be and who she might have been working with. It turned out that the answer that seemed the most likely was right.
The seventh episode of Pretty Little Liars: Summer School finished on a cliffhanger. When Faran got to the pool, Kelly was already drowning, and Bloody Rose was making fun of her from behind a fence. In episode 8, Faran eventually chose to save Kelly and bring her back to life instead of going after the bad guy. In episode 7 of Pretty Little Liars: Summer School, the Liars were desperately trying to figure out who Bloody Rose was. When the bad girl attacked the teen in Pretty Little Liars: Summer School episode 6, Imogen thought she saw her dead mother under the bad guy's bandages. But in the finale, fans learned that Bloody Rose was wearing a mask that looked like Davie during Imogen's test. The woman who has been scaring the girls all season was right in front of them, along with her partner. Bloody Rose's last goal was Tabby, and once she was taken hostage, everything else fell into place.
Bloody Rose made it through episode 8 because Faran saved Kelly (who Bloody Rose didn't stab) instead of going after the bad guy from the Pretty Little Liars spinoff. However, once she took Tabby hostage and took her to the church for her Final Girl test, her name was no longer a secret. There were scary masks, strange drawings, and an altar with Pastor Malachi's body on it all over the church. Once Tabby woke up in the confessional, she saw Bloody Rose, her following, and someone with a "A" mask on. Tabby found out right away that Bloody Rose was Mrs. Langsberry, which wasn't the case with the other tests.
Rose Waters, the real person, came to Mouse's house to get her attention for Spooky Spaghetti. Mouse took Rose to Crazy Joe's train car, where Bloody Rose killed her. In the end, Tabby found Rose's body in the church's confessional room. There were a lot of people who thought Mrs. Langsberry was Bloody Rose at the start of Pretty Little Liars: Summer School, but then they switched their attention to other people, like Dr. Sullivan and Mrs. Beasley. What was really the answer, though, was Chip's mother. She wanted to get even for the death of her son. Even though Archie Waters killed Chip, Mrs. Langsberry blamed Imogen and Tabby because she thought they lied when they said Chip raped them. Someone asked Mrs. Langsberry for help getting back at the teens, so she started dressing up as Bloody Rose, killing people, and scaring Imogen, Tabby, and their friends around.
As expected, everyone was interested in Bloody Rose in Pretty Little Liars: Summer School. Many people also had ideas about who she was working with. Wes, Tabby and Christian's boss at the Orpheum, was the mastermind behind the plan, as the end showed. Wes had already hinted at what he thought about the movie business, like how he thought it was unbelievably hard for young white men to get into it and how he didn't like Tabby's success. So, his plan to become famous and make a lot of money was to kill people for the perfect Horror movie. This is where Bloody Rose comes in.
Bloody Rose's pranks in Pretty Little Liars: Summer School led up to Tabby's Final Girl test, which Wes live-streamed and seemed to be the main event of his movie. As Wes brought Mrs. Langsberry Chip's things back from the movie theater, they began to talk and realized that their goals could be similar (they both liked Tabby). Because of this, Wes used Spooky Spaghetti to find actors and crew (also known as "lost souls" from Pastor Malachi's church cult) and started filming his movie, The Reckoning. Bloody Rose's pranks in Pretty Little Liars: Summer School led up to Tabby's final girl test, which Wes live-streamed and seemed to be the main event of his movie. There was no way he could have known how far Tabby was willing to go to save herself.
Tabby was what the bad guys in Pretty Little Liars: Summer School hated most, which made her the best last girl for them. Mrs. Langsberry hated Tabby because of what she said about Chip and her short Horror movie, which showed what a monster Chip really was. It was jealousy and anger that made Wes hate Tabby. She was having success in the movie business even though she was a youth and a Black woman, while he was in his late 20s and couldn't get into the business. Tabby was the last girl in Pretty Little Liars: Summer School because of this.
Tabby showed she was more than just a typical horror movie heroine with her quick wit, ability to think outside the box, and strength. She figured out how to get around her tormentors, exposed their evil plans, and finally beat evil. How Tabby's life changes in Pretty Little Liars: Summer School shows how strong and determined a young woman can be when she faces impossible problems. She is the model of the "final girl" because she shows that hope and courage can win even in the worst situations.
The end of Pretty Little Liars: Summer School left a lot of questions open, which means that there is a good chance that there will be a third season. Max hasn't said anything about the show's future as of this writing. But it was said that Pretty Little Liars: Scene Stealer was registered as a trademark on WBD's website. This made some people think that Scene Stealer will be the subtitle for season 3 (if Max renews the show).
Still, the fact that Dr. Sullivan died and Archie came back suggests that there will be more shows. If there is a third season, it will probably be about "A" getting payback again. Also, it's possible that the upcoming episodes will show what happens next in the main relationships on the show, such as Imogen and Johnny, Tabby and Christian, Noa and Jen, Ash and Mouse, and Faran and Greg. Even after the end of Pretty Little Liars: Summer School, Christian, Jen, and Greg are still a little suspicious. This means that there may be more evil reveals to come.
It's back with Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, a dramatic Slasher/horror story made for HBO Max. Similar to the first series, Original Sin is about a group of teenage girls who are scared of a killer named "A." The girls must find out the truth about what happened twenty years ago so that the fear in Millwood, Pennsylvania ends and they can stay alive. As the text says, Season 2 of the show came out in May 2024.
People are really into the Pretty Little Liars series because of all the twists and turns and because no one knows who "A" is, the bad guy. Pretty Little Liars has kept viewers on the edge of their seats with a mix of Teen Drama, Mystery, and fear in both the original show and its spinoff. The series has explored themes like friendship, betrayal, secrets, and the results of one's actions. The interesting plots and complex characters have made the franchise popular.
