Will the One Piece Anime Remake be Better Than the Live-Action?
We already have the epic anime for "One Piece", but there is a big, exciting development in the works: Netflix One Piece, which has even been renewed for season 2!

Think "One Piece" 2.0! Netflix will be making an entirely new "One Piece Remake", working with WIT Studio (known for its awesome stuff like Attack on Titan). And the cool thing? It's going to stick to the original manga super closely!
Why Make a Remake of the One Piece Anime?
- The One Piece Anime is already popular and really popular for its English dub!
- This is a chance to show it off to more fans - think the same story but with modern, next-level animation. Think the kind of look they have in Jujutsu Kaisen. It will look incredible! This should totally make those big scenes pop in a brand new way! And it will be awesome for people who just want to dive right into the story without needing to watch over a thousand episodes!
How will it be different from the Live-Action?
The One Piece Live-Action is a bit of a wild card, it's a super unique way to experience the show for those not into anime. But, it had to make some big changes to tell the story in live action!
- We are getting the original story, the original adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, his band of Straw Hats Pirates, those wacky One Piece characters! This is how those One Piece fans experience those original stories!
