"Obi-Wan Kenobi" made a splash back in 2022 with fans of the franchise truly enjoying the series' comeback. This series continues to be discussed in the world of pop culture with potential new installments!

A second season of "Obi-Wan Kenobi" is really in the cards and the likelihood has risen. This really came about when Ewan McGregor made an interesting statement recently suggesting there was some planning around a second season.

In "The Book of Boba Fett" Temuera Morrison played a super compelling role! What seemed like a major opportunity! Was really a series that just wasn't so impressive to many, despite all the amazing hype from those who love Star Wars.

There are lots of opinions. It seemed to have failed on all levels!

Fans felt that the show undervalued the character!
Morrison himself talked about some dissatisfaction. That included feeling that there was too much dialogue for his character, a character that, more so, has been best known for his silences!
Din Djarin from The Mandalorian was a major factor in this.
Fans got to see him for about 2-3 minutes and only in a few key moments. Even Morrison didn't want his own series to feel so off! It was hard to watch!

It turns out a few other storylines for "Obi-Wan Kenobi" never got the chance! These stories might just be the perfect fix for fans! There are so many fans waiting to see this.

Those who worked on this series! Had an amazing time creating one of the biggest pieces for the franchise and while there was no certainty about a second season there is an interesting, fan-favorite character that had been considered at the start and was ultimately not part of the series, and if they were able to work it in, would make an epic comeback!

This character was the incredible "Commander Cody!"

How Commander Cody Became The Center Of This

While Morrison might have some remorse! You may just see Commander Cody return! If the show's creators had a chance to bring back Commander Cody in an interesting storyline. He has been known for his amazing performance in this role, particularly in "Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith" as the hero's greatest rival!

Even Morrison made it clear that he had this desire to get back into his Commander Cody character! This comes after a previous draft for "Obi-Wan Kenobi" planned for this clone, a special clone! It seemed that a great opportunity was missed because Morrison was very busy working on The Book of Boba Fett and, ultimately Commander Cody never made it!

However, with all that said it might not be impossible to give a powerful and memorable second season! What was left off the table could bring the character, Commander Cody back into the action! The storyline looked to have him in "Obi-Wan Kenobi", taking on an unforgettable protective role.

But those fans waiting for this? It could have a powerful comeback and give audiences a moment to reflect on his experience. How was Commander Cody, after executing Order 66, given this horrible duty, to eliminate the Jedi, forced to face his past and how that continues to plague him?

That's an exciting aspect as this would make Commander Cody a major character that's sure to deliver something powerful! What made the show compelling to audiences, was the chance for fans to get a deep dive into their dynamic.

That is the bond, which came from "Star Wars: The Clone Wars." The two were super close and it's a bond that we might get to experience!

It would be such an amazing addition! With an added bonus of exploring their emotions and their history that they shared. This could bring those key events of "Star Wars" together.

Giving Morrison Justice

There's no doubt that "Obi-Wan Kenobi" will come back! A major part of that should be Commander Cody. It's one of the many ways that audiences could really get that next chapter for "Obi-Wan Kenobi" but as the story was developing the show's creators made an oversight and it's time to right those wrongs.

To see Temuera Morrison get a chance to bring a really strong character to the screen.
"Star Wars: The Bad Batch", introduced a side of the character that audiences didn't expect. It shows that there is still so much story to tell.

The fans were so into this character from the start. He has played him! It looks like audiences want more.

With such a possibility to get Commander Cody back! Audiences would not be just looking for another superhero to cheer for, they want more of the show that really did an amazing job of exploring a galaxy far, far away with all of its history.

You have so many more "Star Wars" characters who deserve a special return, but that should definitely make a comeback, along with a few other iconic characters.

For fans, it will give them all the entertainment they want!
