Fans of Naruto and Boruto are excited for the return of the Naruto Mangaka, Masashi Kishimoto! While nothing is confirmed, this well-loved Naruto Creator may return with a New Manga.
The news emerged in an Kishimoto Interview with Mikio Ikemoto, co-author on Boruto, in a press conference. Kishimoto, despite the busy schedules of a Naruto Fan, has made it clear he hopes to find new motivation and would be open to bringing new New Manga stories to the world. He's had great Kishimoto Success in the past!
If you follow the manga industry, then you may know that Masashi Kishimoto, already made a new Manga series called Samurai 8, that got canceled by Shonen Jump due to poor sales. This sci-fi manga had a limited run, so fans may be hopeful for the return of Masashi Kishimoto New Manga, in the hope of achieving better success this time around.
Masashi Kishimoto did say that his newest Kishimoto New Project might involve a one-shot titled Mario! This new series is set in New York City with Mafia characters. This series would feature Kishimoto Art with the strong, action-packed story-telling we know him for. There are reports of sketches of these characters from 1998, which might provide clues to the stories.
While many Naruto Fans have wished for a sequel, it seems less likely for Masashi Kishimoto to continue the story. While he has overseen the Boruto Anime series, which is the continuation of the Naruto Anime universe, a New Manga Series could move away from his successful legacy.
He said that right now he is spending quality time with his Kishimoto Family, and figuring out his next step. But he's keeping a positive outlook! With so many fans of Kishimoto, you can be sure his plans are in good hands!
While the interview is generating plenty of buzz, especially from fans who are hungry for New Manga! Stay tuned to news outlets and keep an eye out for Kishimoto News to find out more. We might even hear a reveal during a press conference, or in a new Kishimoto One-Shot that hints at what is coming next for him.
