Lady Gaga's rendition of Harley Quinn will be significantly changed in the forthcoming Joker: Folie à Deux film in the DC sequel. This year only one DC movie is scheduled for release; Joker: Folie à Deux just five months from theater premiere. Originally scheduled a few years following the 2019 movie, Joker: Folie à Deux will have Lady Gaga's portrayal of Arthur Fleck meeting this universe's rendition of Harley Quinn.
Lady Gaga spoke in a recent E! News interview about landing Joker: Folie à Deux as the next major-screen Harley Quinn adaptation. She explained that although she couldn't provide spoilers, her version of Harley would be named as Lee:
For Dc Comics psychologist Dr. Harleen Quinzel, Harley Quinn is her alter persona.
Although some audience members may find the Lee name controversial, it would be logical in this regard. The Joker: Folie à Deux should concentrate more on encapsulating the core of Harley Quinn's persona in the DC universe than on only her moniker being Lee. With additional looks of Lady Gaga's persona exposed in the forthcoming Joker: Folie à Deux teaser, hopefully, an explanation will be clearer.
A follow-up to Todd Phillips's highly praised comic book thriller Joker: Folie à Deux. Returning as the venerable DC character opposite Lady Gaga, who plays Joker's love interest Harley Quinn, Joaquin Phoenix, reprise his Academy Award-winning role as Arthur Fleck, the failing comedian, returns. It forms part of the DC Universe's independent continuity.
The fresh production has a different twist, hence viewers are excited about the premiere. Of course, the film features the well-known Harley Quinn among other fresh characters and exciting action scenes.
