Event happened in Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arc Episode #1?
With Kinnikuman having left Earth to become the new king of Planet Kinniku, "A New Chapter of History Begins!" episode #1 found Terryman and the other Justice Chojin to be in charge of preserving peace on Earth in his absence. Terryman, Ashuraman, and Neptuneman thus signed an official peace treaty between the Justice, Devil, and Perfect Chojin in an effort to permanently stop their fighting. Every party was sincere in their yearning for peace, and it appeared as though things would be headed toward improvement.
Meat voiced worry about another conflict erupting while the strongest of the Justice Chojin was still recuperating at the end of the original Kinnikuman anime some later, as the Justice Chojin hosted a sporting event for the local children. Indeed, at that very moment a group of enigmatic Chojin under someone resembling Big the Budo dropped from the heavens. Though he said his group, the Perfect Large Numbers, reflected the actual Perfect Chojin, not Neptuneman, the lookalike identified himself as Strong the Budo and declared the treaty was void.
Geronimo and some of the weaker members of the Justice Chojin first tried to cope with the Perfect Large Numbers, but Strong the Budo somehow robbed them of their Chojin abilities and turned them into humans when some of the more minor characters tried to fight. Geronimo and Specialman were each violently battered down by the Perfect Large Numbers. Terryman was being held back from fighting to try and preserve the treaty, but he was fast to reach his limit and the episode concluded with Terryman joining the battle as well.
The best gimmick from Kinnikuman is on full show in the first episode.
The trademark character design aesthetic of Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arc episode #1 is probably something both old and new fans of the franchise will find noteworthy. Apart from the eccentric character designs of series creator Yudetamago, the Kinnikuman manga has always made use of fan-submitted content for new characters, regardless of their weirdness; with episode #1 showcasing people like an anthropomorphic urinal and a man dressed like a giant baby, that philosophy is still relevant after so many years.
Of course, the degree to which the series commits to defines the design aesthetic of ATK. Thanks to the seriousness with which every fight is carried out, the strange character designs of Kinnikuman's cast create an interesting dichotomy with the seriousness of the narrative, as well as a real air of sincerity throughout the story. The series seldom ever makes jokes about how ridiculous someone looks. One of the best features of the show has always been that, and the Perfect Origin Arc is sure to carry that even farther.
