From 9 seasons of The Flash to a fresh popular program in The Irrational, Jesse L. Martin has had a tremendous time on television. Now he is bringing those chops back to the big screen in Re: Uniting, which will have a limited theatrical release across the United States starting on May 31. Although the actor is most recognized for his compassionate cop roles—not to mention almost 200 episodes of Law & Order—he is also a remarkable Broadway actor having brought the legendary musical Rent to life on stage and film.
Re: Uniting's behind-the-scenes clip on Screen Rant had Martin's singing-songwriter ability highlighted. The actor croons a lovely melody he created—called "Little Every Girl"—in the clip. Michelle Harrison, co-starring with him on The Flash as Barry Allen's mother, Nora, sings it with him to highlight their lovely relationship in the film. Re: Uniting, written and directed by Laura Adkin, tracks six closest friends who reconnect for their 25-year college reunion and starts to rethink their life.
