Emilia Pérez stars Selena Gomez Zoe Saldaña with Zoe Saldana who would earn the best actress award in a musical or comedy category that same night . Jacques Audiard’s work with Emilia Pérez also earned a nomination for directing writing and songwriting.
The thriller film Conclave focused on the election of a new pope at the Vatican amassed six total nominations at the Golden Globes with its screenplay earning best screenplay. The Best Screenplay Award at the 2025 Golden Globes given to “Conclave” showed appreciation for unique narratives with focus on written components.
The television series The Bear previously dominating awards during 2024 had received five nominations at the recent 2025 Golden Globes but Jeremy Allen White took home its only win as best actor for his contributions. The award and remarks for the comedy series shows continued dominance in television media.
