Tillie's Mysterious Arrival

In season 2, a new character arrives named Tillie, played by the talented Deborah Grover. She comes to From's creepy town on the Grand Rapids Runner Bus. Tillie quickly becomes a really curious figure and has been seen throughout the seasons of From. Unlike other townspeople who act scared, she makes an effort to get to know everyone! But the question is: why? What makes her so strange? Many viewers have this suspicion that Tillie knows way more than she lets on!

She has had some very big life changes. This included being given a diagnosis for terminal cancer
She lost her beloved husband

This caused her to make the choice to leave her old life! She's been making her way across the country to bet on horse races! It looks like nothing was going to stop this brave adventurer! Tillie really seems open about many aspects of her life including even casually revealing to other characters that she had several children, making it appear that she isn't shy.

This eccentric character Tillie does more than just appear super random. She seems to know details about those around her which also helps to create suspense!

In season 2, she was the only person who figured out Fatima (played by Pegah Ghafoori) was pregnant. This is even though Fatima hadn't yet started showing!
Even more unusual, Tillie confides in Fatima, which has also had supernatural elements.

While this new character appears friendly, those that are familiar with From and have paid attention know that there are special things occurring at certain times.

Elgin (played by Nathan D. Simmons) learns some vital information and helps to save the town thanks to Tillie’s revelations. This really raises questions. Is it just a coincidence?
Even Tillie's friendship with Elgin also reveals her association with supernatural moments. Elgin is shown to have prophetic dreams that sometimes have Tillie present!
She also seems very upfront about other unusual things she experienced which was a way for the producers to get viewers involved and think there's more! This includes the idea that Tillie sought "tarot readings."
