Elnor's Absence from Star Trek: Picard Season 3: Where Did He Go?

This iconic, sci-fi show re-introduced Patrick Stewart back to Star Trek as the beloved, well-respected Admiral Jean-Luc Picard.

With all the characters, and excitement for new stories! There is a fascinating character who fans grew fond of was a Romulan warrior named Elnor.

Played by Evan Evagora. This character joined Picard's journey and gave viewers a lot to appreciate about his heart! As he fought hard against a variety of opponents that sought to challenge the Picard universe and made a memorable appearance, but you may have wondered. What happened to Elnor?

What Led To Elnor's Story & A Sad End:

Picard's journey as he retired started because there was a disaster that led Picard to resign from Starfleet, he decided to return home after being troubled with a supernova on a neighboring planet!

What was truly devastating?
An attack! A super big group of Synths, in 2399 destroyed the ship!
Starfleet gave up their attempts to get involved in evacuations!

Picard was tasked with getting as many people as he could out and he took that role to heart, making a truly impactful moment to everyone that got to experience him during his journey. But what stood out, was that a major portion of the storyline for "Elnor", came to be during his mission to save these individuals in a time of great need.

Picard ended up rescuing a young Romulan who later came to live at Vashti. While the younger Elnor grew to appreciate the guidance of the Qowat Milat! These powerful women warriors guided this young boy into a great warrior but the best part about this character, as he took the stage was the strong moral character that always made audiences cheer. That is a real key as we got to watch this journey unfold over the first few seasons.

However, his fate would shift to something not many could have imagined, making his last season even more sad.

This Romulan warrior had his own interesting past. "Elnor", the character, had a sense of isolation after Picard left. A heart-wrenching moment to remember, he felt abandoned!

Elnor In Star Trek: Picard Season 2:

The best part about Elnor's role in "Star Trek: Picard" was the growth we saw! But his transformation wasn't without challenge, Q took an opportunity in season 2. The series became even more bizarre!

Elnor really took the helm and led this new charge to right all the wrong of this alternate reality! He got himself caught up in an amazing, heroic rescue mission.
Q brought a moment of rebirth for this incredible Romulan and set the stage for this story to end! It seemed like they got the happy ending they deserved, or maybe that was what the characters wanted, that seemed to close out a chapter of Elnor's storyline.

Elnor's Absence from Season 3

Elnor's story came to a halt! What may seem surprising to fans was the fact that he never appeared again. But why not?

While his time may have come to an end, he really got a second wind! What was so sad in Star Trek: Picard? We saw "Elnor" at the "Ten Forward" bar.

But he never came back to "Star Trek: Picard" for that final, memorable season! In that episode, you got to see all the crewmates of "The Next Generation." as they came back together. They gave audiences the reunion they have been wanting! For sure this new chapter will become part of a classic, new, fun storyline for all who are obsessed with this franchise! So it makes sense! When a production has to gather a truly big cast of stars.

Elnor was the hero but for this specific, memorable reunion he was not brought in!

Fans got confirmation that he wasn't a victim of any event on the ship as well!

What is even more interesting is that he didn't go anywhere in this incredible, long series! The writer and those behind the show want audiences to know this. There might be a lot more stories that you are going to get! Elnor is a part of a great History.

There might be another chapter out there for him and the series.

For now, fans of Elnor may want to reflect upon his powerful story that really helped set this new series on the right track! That was not just a small moment. It was about taking this adventure and making Star Trek something even better.
