The Giants Homeland Has Never Looked Better
Elbaf is the legendary land of One Piece's giants, and it's one of the final islands Luffy's crew will visit. The Giants have been a part of the story since the Little Garden Arc, with Luffy and the Straw Hats befriending two named Dorry and Brogy. Elbaf has been hinted at ever since, but the Anime recently gave us the best look at this beautiful land yet.
One Piece's final arcs will probably take place in Elbaf after the Straw Hats escape Egghead Island. Episode #1109 of the Anime gave us an extended look at Elbaf, showcasing the highly anticipated moment involving Shanks' Crew against Eustass Kid's.
One Piece's Anime Partially Revealed Elbaf During Big Mom's Flashback
Fans were treated to beautifully detailed moving shots of cascading mountaintops covered in trees along glistening lakes that fill the land of Elbaf. We were also briefly shown a shadow of a colossal tree that extends far into the heavens. This colossal tree is going to be shown more prominently in the future.
The Giants who befriended Luffy and Usopp spoke about the paradise they grew up in over 100 years ago. Any doubts about their description were quickly erased by episode #1109.
If It Hosts One Piece's Final Battles, Elbaf May Not Stay Beautiful For Long
Elbaf is so rare that some of One Piece's residents even doubted its existence. Many others fear the Giants' warrior race. The Giants' fighting force is considered to be the strongest in One Piece. The Whole Cake Island arc gave us a glimpse into Big Mom's time in Elbaf as a child. But the anime gave us a stunning new look at the island when Shanks reunited with Dorry and Brogy before confronting the Kid Pirates.
Detailed shots of massive mountains being bathed in the sunlight illustrated a land more akin to the promised lands of the Vikings in Vinland Saga than in One Piece. The author Eiichiro Oda has always introduced his audiences to grandiose and unique destinations, but the Elbaf that viewers saw in One Piece episode #1109 stands out for its natural beauty. We won't have to wait too much longer to explore more of this anticipated island.
Luffy and Usopp Have Wanted To Visit Elbaf Since Episode #71
It's very likely that Luffy and his crew will be traveling to Elbaf after the Egghead Island arc. The manga hasn't shown a detailed look at the island, with only a few glimpses. The World Government and the Marines have avoided the strength of the Giants, while Big Mom has desired an alliance with them for years. Now, Luffy seems to be the one to have earned these powerful allies. He will need them in One Piece's final battles, which are approaching faster than fans may think.
Luffy and Usopp have been talking about visiting Elbaf since episode #71. Elbaf is an iconic island with a rich history, and it will be a major player in the Final Arc. This makes Elbaf a place that fans will definitely want to explore.
