Dolly Lewis: Blind Actress Takes Hollywood by Storm in 'Sight Unseen'

Fans are getting a chance to see Dolly Lewis in the CW crime drama, Sight Unseen. She plays the detective Tess Avery! What makes this role even more compelling is Lewis' life story. Lewis is visually impaired! The actress, was born on July 12, 1986. This hasn't stopped her career.

In the CW series, Tess Avery loses her sight. Lewis, who experienced vision loss since age 5 or 6, brought a powerful, intense depth to the character. It wasn't all that difficult as Lewis' career began in 2018 and included several voice-over projects. But it would only be after acting that Sight Unseen becomes one of her best acting parts and she made quite the success!

As she begins to experience more vision loss and realizes that she can't perform as a detective she pivots. She starts her journey as a private eye! The show is such a success, it is currently set for a second season!
