Why is Catwoman: Guardian of Gotham So Dark?

The Elseworlds comic Catwoman: Guardian of Gotham takes a shocking twist as it turns Bruce Wayne into the villain. Unlike the usual version of Batman who fights crime in Gotham City, Bruce is no longer the Billionaire Vigilante but is instead a criminal who murders and preys on others. This darker, Twisted Universe takes a more dramatic twist as he even ends up marrying Catwoman, ultimately making the reveal of his true character an even more sinister moment.

In Catwoman: Guardian of Gotham, Bruce Wayne’s transformation into an antagonist makes him even more sinister than the Clown Prince of Crime - even more dangerous than Joker.
