Austin Butler Describes Bike Accident During New Crime Movie Filming with Tom Hardy
Austin Butler offers specifics on the bike riding mishap he had during The Bikeriders filming. Under the direction of Jeff Nichols, The Bikeriders is an upcoming action film about a motorcycle gang that is gradually turned into an ever more vicious and dangerous society. Apart from Butler, the main cast of The Bikeriders consists in Jodie Comer, Tom Hardy, Michael Shannon, Mike Faist, Norman Reedsus, and Boyd Holbrook.
According to Virgin Radio, Butler describes an accident he ran across during The Bikerider filming. The actor said that the relevant accident occurred on a rainy day around three in the morning. Butler was informed on set by someone on set that should the bike he was riding start, "just take off and [then] turn around" before the railroad tracks. Butler headed into the night, meant to pull over just before the train tracks, when the bike did start. But he struck wet leaves as he approached, fell off the bike. See Butler's entire tale below:
About three in the morning, it had been raining during the day. The bike was cold as we were filming a sequence in which it marks the last one I have with Tom. [Set advisers] said, "The bike won't start, but try to kick start it." It won't start, but should it start, you simply fly off and turn around before you come across the railroad tracks. And when I mounted the bike, we performed a scene. The bike started on the first go when I kicked it! I then started out and drove down the road searching for the railroad tracks. I am in one of those dark pockets at around that time, when street lamps give way to darkness. When you strike wet leaves on a motorcycle, it's like you're on ice. I started to go over to the right hand side of the road and didn't know they had put all the wet leaves there. The rear tire so barely began to fishtail. After some time surfing the bike sideways, I hopped off but landed on my feet. I was doing fine.
Austin Butler Recently Has Played Extreme Roles.
Butler "was okay" ultimately, perhaps because he "landed on [his] feet," despite falling throughout the collision. Though the scenario was not meant to depict a fall, the narrative does show that many of the motorbike riding in The Bikeriders is done by the players themselves rather than a stunt company. This truth will probably help The Bikeriders succeed since the narrative depends on its A-list performers rather than more dramatic special effects and camera moves.
Although the action in The Bikeriders seems fierce, it is hardly the only high-energy part the actor has lately performed. Butler had to go through rigorous shooting flying training to be a World War II bombing squad member in Masters of the Air. Part Two of Even Dune has physically taxing elements since most of the movie was shot in Jordan's Wadi Rum desert under extreme heat. Given who Butler has thus far shown to be an actor, a lot of this passion is appropriate. Butler became well-known for his relentless dedication to portraying the King—especially in his voice—with his huge break in Elvis. Butler's commitment went so far that he frequently heard Elvis in his voice still months later during interviews. Although their jobs are quite diverse, The Bikeriders looks to be no exception when it comes to intense and rigorous Butler roles. At least it sounds as Butler came out of this one without any long-lasting effects.
