Debby Ryan is the star, folks! Most people will remember her from Disney Channel's Jessie and The Suite Life on Deck and Netflix’s Insatiable (not to mention Night Teeth and Turtles All the Way Down). She's had a seriously long, successful career and got her start in 2006 appearing on Barney & Friends.

It appears she'll play that grieving wife who’s at the center of all the events which will eventually culminate in a satisfying, intense ending; possibly that protagonist uncovering a terrifying mystery in her hometown! We don't know exactly what her role will involve but the character might possibly be named Mary (given that Mileiah Vega plays "Young Mary") this character arc sounds extremely exciting, full of opportunities!

His comedic history (30 RockUgly BettyCommunityBored to DeathPsychYour Pretty Face Is Going to HellCrazy Ex-GirlfriendBroad CityDifficult People, and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), and more seriously dramatic roles (EvilThe Watcher, and FBI: Most Wanted), means he could possibly play almost anything. The Supporting Cast: Small Roles with Big Implications

American Horror Stories TV Poster Image

Besides Hiller and Ryan, we have a rather small supporting cast (as noted on IMDb). This is notable; this sparse cast suggests much of that drama could concentrate on Ryan's character—she’ll mostly have Hiller’s character close by or completely alone. There’s this other character –Mileiah Vega plays "Young Mary", which implies a flashback and this younger version’s role may connect to those key events to further showcase the origins, and underlying problems impacting Ryan's character.

A reporter and a nurse suggest possible hospitalizations or deaths – possibly from the scary creature; meaning that Ryan's character could end up back there after suffering some tragedy. Perhaps this terrifying incident links directly to her traumatic childhood experiences and also helps to show that horrific incident which occurred in the past (something which occurred early in her childhood), later directly influencing this very traumatic encounter leading to those intense plot events within this horror episode.
