For the first four episodes, a character named Teen (played by Joe Locke) remained shrouded in mystery! Viewers were teased with hints about this special character! We were wondering about his history, why he chose to be in Agatha Harkness' coven, along with witches such as Lillia Calderu (Patti Lupone), Jennifer Kale (Sasheer Zamata), Alice Wu-Gulliver (Ali Ahn), Mrs. Hart (Debra Jo Rupp), and later Rio Vidal (Aubrey Plaza). The main mystery? Teen can't even say his name without covering his mouth, a hint to those paying close attention that there is more to the story!

Fans were speculating about what was next, with rumors that this person may have been Agatha's son, Nicholas Scratch, However, that mystery got busted wide open. The trials, where Agatha tests her abilities goes wild when her mother possesses Agatha! The test puts the members in jeopardy as another powerful figure joins. It is Nicholas. Alice steps up and as this power gets siphoned and used. This created a moment where Teen stepped up with some strong and incredibly powerful actions that helped us figure things out!
