Debunked Theory #1: Billy Wasn’t Looking for Wanda!

Before that epic episode 6 reveal, most viewers had the same prediction: Billy Maximoff (Wanda’s son), was secretly searching for his mom, Scarlet Witch! It seemed super credible considering those close ties between Billy’s powers and his mother's magic!  The reasoning also seemed highly credible as those broken familial relationships implied the desperate search for family reunion following WandaVision’s events! There was also that extra element of speculation created around Wanda’s own position, following Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness! However, episode six shatters these hopes!

It is revealed Billy’s actual mission focuses on a very surprising aspect involving a specific relative instead of a quest to locate and rejoin his family; and demonstrates some subtle changes and subtle, well-developed storywriting strategies that justify the previous assumptions: Instead, it's his brother Tommy Maximoff! The entire theory shifts entirely away from the perceived parental relationships; focusing instead on siblings!   This explains why the identity remained secret. Billy’s search was to find his brother – not to find his mom!

Debunked Theory #2: Billy’s Boyfriend Wasn’t Hulkling!

This really impacted the viewership’s expectations: This was about Billy’s love life. Many fans anticipated a big-name cameo in Agatha All Along—this hugely popular superhero Hulkling. This Marvel Comics couple are seriously well-known, and many were convinced that their onscreen equivalent would finally arrive in the MCU! Those early Agatha All Along episodes show that contact saved as “Boyf.”  But that episode 6 confirmed these predictions were wrong! The name was revealed:  “Eddie”, not Theodore (Hulkling). A huge disappointment!

This isn't all a closed door however! "Eddie" could potentially mean Theodore!    Or it could be a carefully arranged “red herring.”  This doesn’t conclude anything – there is a high chance Hulkling could appear. This would leave a completely new and unexpected love interest! Which one would ultimately make more sense would still be uncertain at this point; but even if it seems somewhat unlikeable to introduce yet another unconfirmed storyline or element; this kind of ambiguity has become characteristic for these MCU plotlines and this specific production!

Debunked Theory #3: Mephisto's Absence from the Spooky Shadows

Ralph Bohner (Evan Peters) reveals to William that Wanda had two children in Agatha All Along Season 1 Episode 6 Image

Mephisto? The insanely popular and eagerly anticipated character—Marvel’s answer to the Devil!   The anticipation reached extremely high levels as this evil being seemed the ideal, ultimate manipulator behind all those Agatha All Along events! It was assumed he manipulated Billy, setting him up against Agatha and others, gaining greater influence and spreading chaos. The plot itself greatly builds and amplifies expectations that something more must happen than what had been portrayed before. And everyone was so ready. Episode 6 says it's not him.

Instead? Ralph Bohner—that total goofball from WandaVision.  He posed as Pietro for Agatha!   He’s a far cry from that huge mastermind and this creates some really funny consequences;  the entire revelation involving Ralph is another creative writing decision which generated its own set of amazing plot points, greatly enhancing what had transpired before – the revelation itself is amusing; demonstrating this subtle character transition into something unexpected. This “red herring,” unexpectedly serves as a brilliant comedic surprise alongside having shut down that previously intense anticipation for Mephisto’s entrance, highlighting creative story-telling strategies in Marvel productions!

Debunked Theory #4: The Sigil's Mysterious Origins

The biggest mystery surrounds that special sigil which protected Billy’s secret identity, causing lots of heated arguments.  The popular guess? Billy himself did it; or some other large magical force involved this as an external plot event or mysterious protector against external entities.

Episode six gives an amazing surprise:  It's Lilia! (One of those witches from Agatha’s mini-coven). A massive surprise; creating entirely new uncertainties. The placement was made before Billy’s soul took over William’s body. Why would she hide Billy? Maybe protecting him. Or herself! Or maybe even Billy himself. That’s not certain at all – an open end. Once again the storytelling devices highlight surprising outcomes!

Conclusion: Agatha All Along’s Shocking Truth

Agatha All Along’s episode six turned all these widespread and popular theories totally upside down.  Those revealed plot twists were immensely satisfying; creating several completely unforeseen outcomes! Each unexpected moment really shows clever writing which is extremely fun. Yet those lingering ambiguities demonstrate some essential themes found within this entire universe: mysteries never fully vanish, they only get altered, and the MCU will surprise us.
