Get ready for some major twists and turns in Agatha All Along, the Marvel series that is blowing everyone away! Episode 5 dropped some serious bombshells. We're talking about unexpected turns, and enough Easter eggs to keep fans talking for weeks!
Major Cliffhanger in Agatha All Along Episode 5:
The episode throws Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn) into some seriously intense situations, including her third trial on the Witches' Road. What stands out is how this specific challenge shows Agatha going face-to-face with the big mysteries surrounding her own past. There were major moments but this is also one of those special episodes that made a new first in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Salem Seven Shapeshifting:
Fans of Agatha All Along were looking forward to see the big showdown between Agatha and the Salem Seven. In earlier episodes the series set up that Salem Seven would appear, giving clues of what this big confrontation would be like. That is that the coven would become several different types of animals! This episode reveals some of their transformations.
- A fox
- A crow
- A snake
That ability to shift between animals was in the original Marvel Comics stories!
Hexenbesen and a Blood Moon:
Teen (Joe Locke), one of Agatha's new allies, suggests that they fly away with a spell called a "hexenbesen"! This is an old German phrase meaning "witches' broom." That may sound a little clichéd. But in Agatha All Along, even this is used in an amazing way!
The Salem Seven are after the witches and give audiences one memorable image: the coven flying before a blood moon!
Summer Camp Horror And Teen's Outfit:
Before Agatha and her allies could catch a break! The Witches' Road gives them yet another trial to overcome and takes us to the coolest moments in this episode! They have to take shelter from the Salem Seven and they end up inside this cabin! Fans who have enjoyed other scary movies are bound to get something that will make the hair on their neck stand up as they dive into this sequence. The cabin had this summer camp horror vibe, and it brought plenty of nostalgia for those who have watched plenty of films in this genre!
It’s even funnier to see some iconic fashion styles.
- Scrunchies
- Headbands
- Jennifer Kale (Sasheer Zamata) is seen with a retainer.
Also, Teen's clothes bring to mind another very notable hero: Wiccan. They’re the same color. A Red Shirt and blue headband that fans might have picked up from earlier trailers!
Communing With The Dead:
There's a third trial! Agatha's new coven gets to see some action with a Ouija board to speak with the dead.
- The dead that she starts with? She’s trying to channel someone who just recently died! It was so disrespectful to have faked a moment for that other dead person.
- There's a dark, mysterious presence in the show called "Death," it's very spooky. For fans of "Agatha All Along" it was probably a pretty good indication that it could really be Lady Death. This seems true to all the viewers based on the many hints!
- Agatha gets possessed!
- She goes through something very like the scenes from "The Exorcist."! This was unexpected and even had plenty of fans jumping!
Agatha's Mother And Ghosts In The MCU:
Things only get more intense and there is nothing like a surprise that many fans did not expect! When Agatha gets possessed it was a very unique moment!
- It was her mother! That is one serious family moment.
- The revelation in "Agatha All Along" means that we now have our very first ghost moment for the MCU. What does that mean for fans?
- Agatha admits that she can be good, making things even darker as she also admitted she could do good as she murdered her old coven.
Teen's Magic:
The episode takes yet another serious turn, creating moments that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Teen is at the center. He confirms what some suspected: Nicholas Scratch was killed. Teen didn't get his powers from Agatha. And there is a big moment when Teen uses his magic to push Agatha from the road. The end shows him with a crown, a similar design that looks very much like that from Scarlet Witch.
These are only some of the events to make everyone's minds spin as some truly big events came up.
- Fans get another serious moment: It's made clear Teen is actually Wiccan. The show brings in a song during the end credits! It uses a powerful Billie Eilish song "You Should See Me In A Crown" It's perfect for Teen. It speaks to his own empowerment and new power, as he gets his moment. It seems his role is not ending here!
Agatha All Along is a mind-bending series and this episode brings more of those wild moments!
