Hit Monkey Season 2: Way More Than Just Monkey Business
Alright, friends, let’s talk about Hit Monkey! Specifically, hit monkey season 2! Now, when some mentioned I could be discussing what ended up streaming during hit monkey season 2, it felt strange – a gun-toting, suit-wearing assassin monkey guided by the ghost of a hitman sounds utterly insane – I thought; is this anime or something else entirely?! I couldn’t possibly think it’d be from Marvel!
Yet, it really makes sense! That show is completely unlike what anyone thought – it’s surprisingly poignant.
Now, to really get this, and without turning this discussion into what may feel like the review, if we want to start with the premise and main hook; what’s Marvel hit monkey’s real story behind?! Why a hitman monkey Marvel?! Well; the storyline begins when a hitman stumbles on a certain assassin – or rather; upon certain hit monkeys hiding; this single, kind, hitmonkey was shown mercy, saved his life and provided basic medical care to him before dying; after which, a team came to wipe all the hit monkeys that could possibly leak the information regarding this location, after which Bryce returns to take on the original assignment given to him before his unexpected departure when injured, the whole family except for this lone hitmonkey who saved Bryce, end up dead.
I couldn’t have possibly prepared myself! It really does sound too bizarre! A story surrounding a Marvel hitmonkey of all characters?! Yet it somehow actually works and I wouldn’t want anything different! There isn’t even any shortage in some incredibly impressive fight sequence here.
